Perfect for pet owners!!!
When our DC33 wore out, we purchased the V10 Animal. Until we used the V10 Animal for the first time, we didn't realize just how badly our DC33 had been functioning. The DC33 had been picking up surface dirt and a little pet hair, but definitely not all of it. Our DC33 was a great vacuum, and we are expecting the same with the V10 Animal. We are quite pleased with our purchase. We've vacuumed our whole house with the V10, and it's amazing how much dirt, pet hair and carpet fuzz it picked up! We have two dogs and a cat that generate quite a bit of loose fur during shedding season; the V10 picked all the fur up without a problem. As far as the charge goes, we were able to vacuum our whole downstairs and the stairs on one single, full charge of the V10's battery. There is still enough charge left to vacuum our upstairs, too. That's a great feature for a 3,000+ square foot house. We definitely recommend this vac for people with pets. It does a fantastic job of getting up the dirt/fur/hair/carpet fuzz!

Do not buy!!
I charged the Dyson vacuum before using it and used it till it ran dead now it will not recharge!!!

    Animal hair Dyson
    amazing and versatile vacuum. Super cleaning ability. I have been a shark user for years and this is a huge upgrade. Best part is cleaning the car with it.

    I previously owned a Dyson v8 animal (loved it) and upgraded to this. I would not recommend this vacuum. It won't stay charged and doesn't work in smaller spaces (under couch, car) like the V8 did.

    Great Purchase!
    I absolutely love this vacuum! This was my first dyson purchase and it did not disappoint. It was very easy to put together and I like that it has 3 different suction settings. It can either be mounted to a wall for charging or simply just plugged in. This cordless vacuum is a game changer.

    Design flaw with the wall mount
    I bought the V10 animal and I love it. Great suction on middle power setting and the battery holds a charge well. Live the convenience of a wall mount that keeps it charged at the same time. My only complaint is the wall mount doesn't hold all the accessories. I'm not happy about having two extra accessories that have no place to attach to the wall mount.

    You will be very pleased with this vacuum
    Love this vacuum! Really works to do what it says it will in the advertisements. I have Robotic vacuums too but this Dyson shows me how much dirt the robot vacuums do not pick up. The Dyson is to use, lightweight, well built, and very effective with excellent suction power. I love not having to drag the electric cord around. The Dyson is expensive but counting how many cheaper vacuums I have had to purchase, I should have bought the Dyson first.

    Best vacuum ever
    It sucks up more dirt even after I’ve vacuumed with my Shark! Now I’m finally able to shampoo my carpet without accumulating dust bunnies in my shampooer. It even works great on my kitchen floor. Best vacuum I’ve owned due to its lightweight material and excellent performance. It sucks up pet hair and long hair without getting tangled in the vacuum. It can reach and turn in a wide range of directions. The only down sides are that its power trigger must be held at all times to keep the power on. However, you can buy an attachment on Amazon to keep the power on without having to hold the trigger. Also, for some reason, I can’t consistently easily detach the canister from the wand. Might take practice. It has user friendly and simple instructions to get started. Cordless is the way to go! Note I haven’t used any of the accessories yet except for a pet hair groomer that I bought separately and that worked great.

    Love vacuum but ordered two and refunds take 3 wks
    The vacuum is amazing. My mother and sister own also own one. What I don’t like is the third party you order through on the Walmart website. I accidentally purchased two, yes my fault. I returned it to Walmart same day and I have to wait 3 weeks for the money back. Was told it would be picked up fedex and sent back. Checked on it said week to deliver and comapny said two weeks for refund after they get it back. It’s not cheap and that is awhile to wait for money. Not a fan of third party purchase off Walmart site. Alway check where it’s being sent from since Walmart doesn’t refund.

    Battery issues
    I like the features of this vacuum but the battery quickly became an issue. I'm now to the point I can't even vacuum one room without the battery dying. Very disappointing, especially considering what I paid for it.

    Died just after the warranty period
    This was great when it was brand new, but just after the two year warranty expired it no longer works. The trigger started shutting off randomly and now does not function at all. Looking at other reviews I see I am not the only one having this problem. Very disappointing quality that erodes my trust in the Dyson brand - would expect longer life from such an expensive product.
