Very quick to set up (though instructions were a little hard to follow). I love that I can watch tv on my iPad while logging a ride on my phone. A few recommendations: invest in a wider seat (the one that comes with the bike is so tiny! And hurt to ride for longer than 10 min); get a popsocket for your phone and a popsocket flex so you can have both your phone and iPad on the bike as you ride.

Cadence, speed, output not working, out of box
Bike arrived quickly, took about 15 minutes to assemble. Got the app connected and working but unfortunately the speed, cadence, output metrics are not working correctly in the app. All show 0 even when pedaling. Resistance does show up. Frustrating that a brand new bike is having problems. Tried online chat, they said I'd have to wait for an email from their "technical team."

    Great Spin Bike
This is a great spin bike in general. Quiet and Sturdy! I use the Peloton App for spin classes along with the Echelon Free ride App to monitor my stats. The first bike I received made a clicking noise, so I called Echelon customer service and they sent me a brand new bike that works great. I installed SPD clips and I could not be happier!

Echelon Connect Sport: My 1st Spin Bike
First, a special thanks to the delivery guy who brought up this machine to the top floor of my building. The quality and design of this spin bike is solid and well built. It feels like a spin bike that cost at least twice as much. After doing an extensive amount of research on the Peloton alternatives I decided to start out with the Echelon Connect Sport as my very first spin bike, and I'm really happy with my decision; especially for the price. Thanks Walmart! Here's what influenced this purchase: 1) I hate running for cardio, but enjoy cycling instead. 2) The weather has been cold, windy, and wet outside, but I want to stay active. 3) I need to find a way to eliminate my excuses from exercising (if the equipment is within my home, and I don't exercise, I'm just flat out LAZY). 4) I don't really need to invest a lot more than $500 on a spin bike, before I'm sure that I will ACTUALLY use it. 5) I want an affordable spin bike without sacrificing the quality and the design. 6) I don't need a built in screen since I like the flexibility of watching other things while on the spin bike such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I highly recommend this spin bike.

Totally worth 500$. Its a most buy.
Having a disabled daughter, a gym wasn't a option. But if you buy this, you can bring the gym to your house!! Its build very sturdy. And comfortable for a 6ft tall man. And just as comfortable for a 5ft tall woman. Tablet holder is perfect. This is a amazing machine for 500$. Youll Cons, seat is uncomfortable. Im replacing it. Software isnt user friendly. Membership doesnt describe what you get for what you pay for. Minimal scenic rides, like 6 (happen to be my favorite). You will get the same or actually better workout than a gym with this bike. Its smooth and quiet. Resistance works great, but wish it matched the hills and self adjusted to simulate a real ride. Easy assembly (took half hour).

    Happy customer
This bike arrived last Friday. I had my husband set up up immediately. The first ride was difficult as my Butt hurt the entire time. Today is ride 4 and in adjusting! Such a great bike for a small cost. I could NEVER see myself spending 2k on a peloton. This bike is just as great and it is completely silent. I did a workout with headphones in while my husband slept (light sleeper) and he never heard it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into cycling/spinning. And as for shipping it took 7 days total. I ordered it on a Friday and then received it the following Friday.

    Very Impressed with Peleton Alternative
I am very impressed with the Echelon Connect Sport. The bike is sturdy, great for riding in and out of the saddle and lastly perfect for small spaces. I was looking for a stationary bike to have at home during the pandemic. For classes, I use the Peleton app ($13/month) on an iPad along with the Echelon app (Free to access Freestyle ride) on my iPhone to track cadence, resistance and output. This is a great alternative to the $2k Peleton bike and still allows me to access Peleton classes!

Solid bike that saved my knees!
I started a regular exercise regiment after I had my 3rd child, 5 years ago at the age of 29. Since I have had to have knee surgery. I won the generic lottery and inherited weak knees. A couple years ago I purchased my own elliptical and used that pretty regular along with strength training. That seemed to exacerbate my knee pain. A week ago I couldn't even walk without limping. I decided to sell my elliptical and purchase this bike. In less than a week of use, my knee pain is almost completely gone! I actually was planning on going back to my surgeon and beg him to fix it but the pain is basically gone. The bike is super sturdy and solid. I love all the classes and challenges. It has been very easy to connect, even after I unplug it for the night. I highly recommend this bike. Amazing deal!

good looking, silent bike that can hold a laptop
I'm not going to repeat all the good things other people have mentioned, regarding its build, quietness, ability to use Peloton app, price, etc. etc. I'll just talk about my specific need: bike needs to hold a laptop well. This bike does it. After pedaling Peloton a couple times at gym and researching other spin bike options, I got pretty clear about my needs: I don't need instructors or classes, my goal is to move more while WFH, ya, move more than 100 steps a day. I want to jump on it anytime I am happy to in a second, after a meal, while taking a break, or 30min before going to bed. I don't need that big screen of Peloton for classes, even when at gym I was using backdoor to watch Youtube on Peloton. I want the bike to be able to hold a laptop that has ad block for Youtube so I can watch all the random clips I subscribed. With laptop I'd be able to take skype calls during working hours without missing anything. A bike with my laptop, that's what I need. I checked a couple other bike brands, specifically checking their handle bars to see if they can fit a laptop. Most other options either have a holder that's only big enough for tablet, or don't have a good place to put laptop at all. Echelon connect through Walmart is my happy find. From these two photos you can see my 14 inch laptop sits on handle bar steadily. I'm sure even a 16 inch Macbook pro would be fine, too. I had the bike for two days and I'm just using the bike as my 'entertainment and conference call' station while sweating a little bit. Wife? Same thing, she watches her soap operas on her laptop while biking. Perfect, isn't it?

LOVE this bike and SPD pedals can be swapped in!
This bike is fantastic! And you can ABSOLUTELY swap in SPD pedals! I read negative reviews on here stating otherwise: I ordered Shimano pedals from Amazon for $50 before receiving the bike and assembled it with them from the start. They're great! The ride is super smooth, I used to ride at the gym but now I ride at home with Les Mill and the Peloton apps (you need to search up the conversion chart for resistance for Peloton. I printed it out and keep it near my bike). Doesn't bother me that my stats aren't on the leaderboard on Peloton at all, would rather pay 1/5 the price and only $12 a month for the service! I ordered a 2x4 mat for underneath it, that is the roughly the footprint of the bike (slightly smaller, see picture! Note I peeled off the "sports" stickers though haha). I worried it would feel big in the corner of my basement, but it doesn't at all! All bikes have uncomfortable seats imo, so I'm ordering a gel seat cover to help with that. Of NOTE: the assembly instructions are slightly confusing: the section at the beginning (page 7) that describes REMOVAL OF FRAME is actually what you want to follow to ATTACH the frame. One imperative thing here is removing the "wheel chock bolts" from the underside of the flywheel (which prevented it from moving in shipping). If that step is missed, your wheel/pedals won't turn. I've had this bike for a few weeks so can't speak to longevity, but I absolutely love it so far and would recommend without hesitation. I also purchased a protection plan through Walmart/Allstate at the time of purchase, which I found to be cheaper than a friend's Bowflex protection plan (and that's a $1000 bike to boot). If your goal is a smooth ride and saving money, buy this bike!
