Worth the money!
They work exactly as they should, and PLEASE look up a video online on how to properly install one of these before reviewing!!!

Cheap cost and very cheap made
we've used this type of gate for 20 yrs for our dogs. We have a 20 ur old one that is still perfect and has all metal hinges, etc. This new one we got is very cheap both in price and feel. It is light as a feather and all the parts are cheap plastic. It is hard to figure out how to close at first as well. We will keep it for our dogs but do not expect it to last long at all. The plastic mesh is thin and feels like it will break if you look at it. The wood is light and cheap feeling. The closure is cheap plastic. I certainly would NOT use this for a child AT ALL! I cannot believe they are allowed to sell that's for use with children. It keeps our dogs out of another room but I would not trust it for stairs or anything else. Very disappointed in the new model. Would not recommend unless it's to keep dogs out of a room and I ly under supervision. I know our dog could shred this if left alone with the opportunity.

    Broke in less than 24 hours
    Cracked after using for only one day. This is with minimal wear and tear I bought this so my dogs stay out of my basement not for a child so this happened without a child pulling on it or anything. $14 down the drain. Super disappointed.

    Very disappointed.
    This gate does not work on certain widths of doors. It also has a lock on it that was not shown in the main picture when purchased. I can't use it and I can't take it back because I through away the paperwork. Never thought I would need a degree to figure out a baby gate. Why do you have to change something that worked? Very disappointed.

    New Design - Awful
    I'm wondering if I'm the only one who really dislikes this newly designed baby gate. When something works & works well leave it alone!!!!!! I hate the new mechanisms. They don't slide easily and just frustrating to use. The old style was so easy & simple to us. IMO this new design is junk. Won't be buying them again.

    I like it for what I need it for. Not sure if strength. I use it to block stairs from dog going up so it is between railings freely, not on wall, nor did I use the wall brackets. Looks nicer then the old white ones that make with the light wood. Very stylish.

    Terrible to initially open!
    Just purchased today, 3/14/2022. NOT easy to open initially! I have been using you tube videos and I can not get the gate to unlock. One video suggested a flat head screwdriver, nope! Go with another less expensive brand/style. Look at the you tube reviews, many others can not open this gate.

    6.99 more but same flimsy product
    I have been purchasing this product on and off for years. Dont expect it to last more than a year. Also, the item used to be 9.99 (May 2021) but it is now 16.98 (March 2022). Save yourself a headache and invest in a better product.

    Save your money!
    Terrible! First one I bought, thought it broke because I left it outside briefly in the rain. Bought 2 more and never left them in the rain, broke within a couple months. Requires a lot of strain on the flimsy wood to be secure and the whole gate starts warping to compensate. Then, one day, crack!

    This thing is garbage good thing it was cheap! It came with no instructions and does not extend. It does not hold my dog in.
