Great battery and warranty
Very good battery with good warranty backed by Walmart, and the price is reasonable. Also Walmart will install the battery for free if purchased from them.

Doesn't fit 2018 Chevy Trax LT
I went to install it, and the battery itself is too big for the bracket mounting hardware as seen in my photo. Is it compatible with the Chevy Trax? I'm sure it is. But I would rather you include hardware or even recommend hardware to prevent people running into these issues than to have to deal with it the hard way like I did. If you do buy this battery, know what you are getting into. You will have a nightmare of a time trying to get mounting hardware. Just go somewhere that has a battery that fits better.

    Almost but not quite
    Ordered the AMG Platinum H-6 Battery online....It was delivered same day 2/17/23...Good battery, good price. I was charged $13.50 for the core. I took old battery(core) to Walmart auto who said "because it was online purchase they couldn't refund core charge...must go to customer service." when I went there they said "they can't refund core charge because they have no code in their system that'll allow them to. I'll need to be refunded online." I gave up and left non-refunded core in auto department.

    Good battery, long lasting.
    I had to call Walmart 6 times over 2 days before someone finally answered the phone. I was told they didn't have the battery in stock and they couldn't get it. I was told (I know, hard to believe) they could not order it. She said the guy from the battery place comes by occasionally and drops off batteries. I ended up ordering the battery online and it was delivered the next so I could install it myself.

    Good, price, delivered quick, core charge issues
    Price was great. Delivered next day. Only issue is going to the store and getting battery core charge back as core charge is lumped into tax amount on invoice. Store associates don't know how to deal with this. They figured it out but Walmart needs to fix this process. Way too early to review battery.

    Great Battery, difficult core charge procedure.
    Like others have said, the battery is great. It's the core charge that was the problem. The core charge and sales tax were combined on the web receipt and the clerk could not figure out how to refund it. Argued that no core charge was billed, but the total was still $12 more than it should have. After 20-minutes back-and-forth, and the customer service like going from 3 deep to 20 deep, they finally offered to do some magic in their system. I offered that a $12 gift card would work if it was the easiest. The clerk agreed and we finally settled our differences. I don't know why the core and tax were added into the same line item, or if my using a coupon triggered something, but Walmart needs to figure out how to make this kind of transaction work correctly or stop offering car batteries on the web or apps.

    Walmart website sucks again costing me more money!
    Battery good so far, Walmart really sucks. I ordered this online, got confirmation, got the order is ready about 24 hours later, left work to get it and Walmart canceled it!? Saidnout of stock. Had to order from a Walmart further away as my battery is dead, I have to jump start it daily. The second Walmart sent confirmation, then also canceled saying out of stock. I then had to order it from a Walmart about 30 miles away, and since I have completely lost trust in Walmart I ordered it from another Walmart 50 miles away as a backup plan! I was lucky, I had to leave work for the rest of the day costing me 4 hours pay, thats 150 bucks I'm now out because Walmart sucks when you order online. I hope this battery lasts and if I have any issue, they Better not give me any trouble honoring the 4 year warranty. Ps Walmart, remember the tires I ordered last winter, your outside seller claimed to deliver but never showed proof of delivery, but never did, Then said to show me video security footage from my home,, which i don't even have,, to show what then never arriving!? yeah, I'm still out that money too!

    Price was great. Pickup at store was easy. Battery was a perfect fit. Now for the not so good, the core charge refund was very difficult. Core charge and sales tax were combined on receipt. Clerk at return desk said she could not refund the sales tax. I only wanted my $12.00 core charge back for my used battery. I asked for a manager. The manager could not figure out the core charge from my online receipt. She finally offered a $12 Walmart gift card for the core. Walmart should figure out how to make this kind of transaction work or stop offering auto batteries for online sale.

    Big issue with getting core charge refund
    The online order and store pickup process was great and efficient. However, the fact that they do not include core charge of $12 plus tax (and the disposal fee of $2 plus tax) in the online order receipt is causing big issue when attempting to return the old battery to a store for refund of the core charge paid. So if you include the core charge into the price of the battery as the total net price, you won't be surprised or disappointed.

    Great value for an AGM battery.
    Replaced the factory battery in my Jeep with this one. I actually wanted to replace it with one of the more popular AGM batteries but due to the time off needing it, I could not find one. It looks like I was lucky enough to even get one of these. There was a major US shortage of AGM batteries at the time. After owning this for several months now, I can say that I have really not noticed anything different between those and this one. Winching has not killed it, cold weather has done nothing to it. It sits for weeks at a time with no use and still fires right up. For hundreds less than the others, I am sold. Not to mention the better warranty through Walmart for this one. Hopefully, I won't need to find out how well the warranty works.
