Really does remove odors!
This is the first time I've tried this model. I have been having the dirty sock smell coming from air return the last month. I was told that I might have to install a UV light in my unit to eliminate this ordor, which was going to cost quite a bit. So I was replacing the filter after 2 weeks and happen to see this model Odor remover and allergin removal and decided to give it a try before contacting my heat and air guy to install the uv product. I was really glad I gave it a try, this product total removed that smell! Thank you Filtrete for this great product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Furnace Filter Review
    This filter does a great job of catching cat and dog hair. Plus dust and other items. I have 3 cats a dog and 3 people at home. So I only have 1 return vent downstairs and I have to replace it every 2 weeks. Up stairs I have 2 vents and I can go monthly on the 2 filters. I used to go 45 days with a top of the line big box store air filter. This catches MORE!!! I would assume it is catching more if the stuff I cant see also.

    Walmart offers a sizable selection of MMM furnace filters at reasonable prices and free shipping. Better than the big box home improvement stores.

    Great Furnace Filters!!!

    Great. Gets rid of allergens and smoke.
    Smoke came in our house. We shut the windows and turned on the air. The filters eliminated the smoke smell quickly. Bought some for my daughter who had allergies and she loves them.

    Superb Filtration & Satisfaction!
    I bought my Odor Reduction Filtrete filter because I do smoke in my home and I have a dog. My home is new and I am particularly concerned about keeping my air conditioning system performing at top-notch performance, while keeping the air clean-smelling as well. I am greatly pleased with Filtrete's lineup of filters but the Odor Reduction filter is by far a great filter in performing a great job at capturing dust, smoke and other allergens and keeping them there and the filter, instead of further circulating them throughout the system and my home.     Noticeable difference!
    My family teases me because I am always following smells. My nose works very well. After about a week with the Filtrete Odor Reduction I noticed a big difference in our home. My husband even commented that I hadn't been so nosey (ha) lately. We will definitely be purchasing and using this filter from now on!

    Carbon Filtrete used along with Fine Particle Filt
    I use one of these filtrete carbon filters as a pre-filter along with one of the filtrete finer particle filters. Amazing how much pollution.there is in Southern California. See digital pictures after 60 days! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
