Does its job for a month then need replacing
This filter is supposed to last 3 months with regular use. However I have never found it to be true. We have a 1800sqft home non smokers and we don't burn candles or anything else that might shorten the life. We do have two small dogs and a cat. Which we all have allergies which is why this filter is a must. It works wonderful for 1 month then it no longer works for us. We vacuum everyday dust everyday. What can I do to prolong the use of this filter because it is expensive to replace which we will have to change to a competitors filter that cost less!

    There WONDERFUL! I noticed a change in the air quality, in ONE DAY! CAN'T BEAT THE FILTER, (I got the purple one) MY DAUGHTER'S, GRANDSON, AND GRANDDAUGHTER, ALL HAVE ALLERGIES, THEY BEARLEY SNEEZE, AND I DIDN'T EVEN TELL THEM! SO I KNOW THEY WORK.     good filter rate
    I have been stepping up the level of filtration over this last year. we both have respiratory issues. not sure what is the biggest offender. we may be there. Problem' other than the MPR number or Merv number you show no comparison that would cause me to believe that the higher mpr filter would be better for us. there is a chart on the package, but it only shows the 1500 filter and use. why would i buy a 2200 or???? how do they compare, how about a chart that shows something other than just size and a number...

    Really A NECESSITY TODAY!
    These air filters are superior in quality and function, I even use the highest filtration level as a top notch replacement for hepa filtration in appliances and air filters at my business for decades now. One will easily be able to discern the difference in air quality when in use in just a few minutes. One can even make an inexpensive quality air cleaner with an ordinary household fan and and air filter simply taped to it as is demonstrated by a Professor at the University of Michigan on you tube. Really a need for most homes in all American cities today.

    Great Furnace Filters
    I have been using these filters for years. They do a great job and seem to help reduce allergens which affect the family. Tip, to make removal quick and simple for replacement, add a 2" - 3" piece of 3M electrical tape to the corner. They lift right out!

    Great filter for our multi - cat household
    We have several cats and have found that the Filtrete Brand1" 1500 filters work best for our needs and freedom from allergies. Our home is 2 story with 3 return air inlets. We use Filtrete in all of them! We live in Humble, Texas and there is ALWAYS pollen, dust, spores, etc. in the air and Filtrete takes care of all of it!

    Perfect for model railroad enthusiasts!
    Ask any model railroader what their number one enemy is and they will always say dust! These filters do an excellent job of capturing particulates in the air and keeping them off of my railroad. Probably not the usual review you would expect, but they really do work.
