A Perfect Example of an Air Filter at its Best!!
This air filter from Filtrete is most impressive to say the least! Air filters have come so far in innovation, ingenuity, and performance...and Filtrete is most definitely leading the pack! Their new Advanced Allergen, Bacteria & Virus Filter is a perfect example of why. This air filter is formulated with True Hepa technology allowing it to capture and contain 99.97% of airborne particles from dust & lint to bacteria, viruses, and even smoke as well as many more! This filter does all the hard work, trapping particles 1000 times smaller than the human eye, while you and your loved ones breathe cleaner, more purified, and much less contaminated air! I suffer from allergies such as mold and pet dander as well as seasonal allergies such as pollen and ragweed, but thanks to Filtrete's new Advanced Allergen, Bacteria & Virus Filter, I can focus on enjoying the seasons, the weather, etc.! I've definitely noticed less sneezing, itching & watering eyes, in addition to peace of mind!! It's super easy to install in the room purifier and I can find replacements right around the corner at my nearest retailers! What's not to love?!!

replaceable filter
I giving this item 3 stars. Why? Because the filter isn't washable and you have to replace it like every other month. It does its job, but it could be a little more environmental friendly.

    Wow!
    The information listed on this filter says that it lasts up to 6 months (based on 12 hours per day usage) I decided to change mine after only 2 months, I'm glad I did! I have 2 air purifiers in my room and they run 24/7. When I removed the old filters, it seemed that they weighed more than they looked like they should. I then compared their weight to the new filters. The Old filters weighed at least twice as much as the new ones, which to me, meant that they were really working. It was very satisfying to throw the old filters, with all the dust and dirt, and God knows what else, into the trash. I will continue to replace these filters regularly and I highly recommend them.

    Works great
    I only use this filter. Seems to work just fine. Started using it when husband had covid. I had this in my room running every night. Once husband was better we bought another air purifier with this filter and he took it to work. No one has been sick since. He runs it in his office of 4 people all day and I run mine all night every night. Filter needs changed every 3 months.

    The only difference between these and the regular filter is a foam strip glued around the outer edge to provide a better seal and four dollars more . Seems to me this should have been standard on all their filters , for the regular filter that came with the filter unit allowed dust to be sucked in around the filters edge and blown back into the air , defeating the whole purpose of the air purifier . Another way you could put tape on all the seams , but why should I have to 3M ?

    Filter is great, but pricey. Received next day, but shipping package needs help. Ordered two of these and they came in 2 separate grossly over sized boxes with lots of paper to take up the extra space. Could have probably sent 6 in each of the containers.

    Lots of material for masks~
    I purchased this to put in masks for the covid 19 outbreak. It was a little time consuming to cut all of the rubber out but it makes for a LOT of filter material!! It filters virus, that is the most important thing at this point in history....
