Ring Ring, its for you grandma !
I love this toy! Its a family tradition with us, I had one as a child, my daughter had one and now my granddaughter. My granddaughter is a few days shy of turning 8 months and I wasn't sure if it was age appropriate for her but SHE;S GOT IT DOWN! Shes dialing the numbers and giving it her best attempt to put the phone on her ear, be it upside down lol but shes got the idea !

Cheaply made
This item is cheaply made. The receiver string is too short. So much so that it can't even be put up to the child's ear without flipping the whole toy in the air. And once again, the string to pull it with is so short that it won't stay upright when baby tries to pull it.

    Super Cute!
    My son is 9 months old and he likes it. He likes the string and the ringing sound the most. I just felt that the wire of the handle is too short to hold the phone up to ear.

    Childhood nostalgia
    I love the retro feel of this toy but the packaging was a pain. The phone is tightly held into the box by wires. In order to cut the item free, I ended up scratching the plastic on the receiver.

    Not the one from back in the day
    Not the one from back in the day. I wanted to share in a nostalgic experience of the rotary phone with my 1 year old. For some reason the plastic tires are exposed and won't release from the toy this is a MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. The pull string is too short and the phone handle cord is too short. my 1 year old can't put it up to good ear to take a "For play" call, so developmental skills are too limited. unfortunately I'm returning the item for safety concerns and failed generational nostalgia.
