Cool scooter!
My daughter loves this! She saw the neighbor's boy riding his and begged and begged to get one. So I did what every father would do, I broke down and bought one for my baby girl. This scooter goes up to 10 mph and has 2 different settings which are easy to change. My girl is 8 so she is still getting used to it and rides it slower than 15 but suspect that will change soon. As she gets older and more comfortable I'm sure she will be cruising to 15 mph. Right out the box this scooter was pretty much assembled; really didn't take much and came pre-charged. The width of the board seems to fit her feet well as well as mine. It is easy to brake and even comes with a mini kickstand. The battery lasts a lot longer than I expected it to. Overall it is a very cool scooter that make other kid's jealous and my little girl loves it.

    Great little electric scooter!
    I started to look into electric scooters because they can be quite compact and fit well into a trunk. They come in handy for my gas cars when I bring them in for a car wash, oil change, or some other service. I would have the freedom to go across the street to the Target or other store to get some errands done. For my electric car, it is even better. When I have my car charging (usually around 25 minutes on a fast charger and longer on a standard charger), I can plug my car in and ride away. The Gotrax G2 caught my attention because of its compact nature and of course, it's reasonable price. It is in the lower spectrum of the Gotrax's line of products as it is not very powerful but still gets the job done. Don't expect this to be hefty like the Bird scooters that you see everywhere in the cities these days. This has a top speed of 15 miles/hour and takes its time getting up to that speed. With that said, this scooter is quiet! There's barely a motor whine when riding it and it's just a pleasure to be moving along without a lot of effort. Its light weight means it is easily controllable by just putting one foot down and controlling the handlebar. It is also easy to get going. Pushing on the throttle will not make the scooter go, which is a nice safety feature. The scooter must be pushed up to a certain speed before the throttle can be engaged. It is also easy to stop. Press on the brake lever, put one foot down and let go of throttle, or step on the physical braking mechanism at the back. All will do the job nicely. For travel, this scooter can collapse within 2 seconds and carried. The locking mechanism is easy to engage and disengage. I will be purchasing a strap to go around the scooter when folded so that I'm not relying solely on the locking mechanism when I'm carrying it. I will also look for a strap so that I can loop it over my shoulder. The scooter itself weighs about 20 pounds so it is a bundle to lug around but I think it's quite doable. I'm still looking for a good locking mechanism for it as the handlebar is attached by two screws so that means a u-lock can be foiled with just 2 screws. With that said, I'm having a lot of fun with this little scooter. It will not be winning any races but it will certainly let me do my errands with my otherwise-wasted waiting time.

    For Me… It's The Perfect E-Scooter !!
    I LOVE my new GOTRAX G2 E-Scooter… I have ridden other E-Scooters, but this Model is Perfect for my needs. The weight is good for me… only 20.9 lbs…but with that light weight it still packs a lot of power with a 200W motor that gives it enough muscle to achieve speeds up to 15.5 mph, and climb grades up to 14 degrees. It's got a 7 mile range on a 3-4 hour charge too. I just plug it in, at night, and by morning, it's good to go.. It's all that I need, I'm not commuting 20 miles to work, I just needed something for short trips, that folded up and I could easily load into the back of my trunk, ( yes it does..!!) And oh.. it has solid 6.5” solid tires.. and before you pop-poo those … I will NEVER have to worry about getting a FLAT !! The OTHER THING I really liked about this, is the Dual Brakes…..… there's a brake on the Handle, AND a brake by pushing on the rear wheel.. I think that gives you more control … I didn't see that on the other e-scooters I had ridden… This one is “targeted “ for teens… up to 220 lbs.. but I like it for me… It had all the features I was looking for. Thanks GOTRAX … you made me a PERFECT SCOOTER !!!

    No more running to catch up with my son!
    This e-scooter is a gift to myself. I am 5 feet 3 in and 130 lbs. For my height, this scooter is actually perfect as it is not too low. I also know that my weight is within the weight limit, so no issues there. The scooter was easy to set up and easy to charge. It has good speed and pretty sturdy. On top of that, the scooter looks stylish. I now can catch up with my son who likes to play with bicycle in the afternoon without being shortness of breath every single time. I did not need to run to follow him. Although I only have the scooter for over than a week, I have not encountered any power issues yet. The price is right and I think it is a good value e-scooter.

    perfect for my need to get to my car
    I'm will renting a parking spot, which is about 1 mile from my house. While it's probably good to walk a mile as exercise, there are times when I'm running late and need to get to my car sooner than later. I can run a mile but I didn't want to sweat so I decided to get this electric scooter so I can ride this to my car. There are other electric scooter that can go faster and with bigger battery capacity but those also comes with bigger form factor and heavier weight. This scooter was perfect since I can get to my car from my house with breeze and it's very compact when folded, easily fitting in my car trunk. When I park my car to come home, I can take this out from my trunk and ride it back to my house and it's lightweight to carry up the stairs to my house. The battery supposed to last 7 miles, which is more than enough for my round trip to the park lot. The LCD screen that shows the battery level and speed is nice and the headlight is a big plus for safety at night. Very happy with this electric scooter!

    Smoking Scooter!!
    Smoking Scooter!! This comes pretty much assembled, I just took about 15 minutes to attach the handlebars. The manual is very detailed with a very simple instructions. There are two locking mechanisms that help fold the scooter closed and opened. There's a pin that is sticking to keep it locked open. It was pretty smooth after 15 miles an hour and has it while charger that plugs into the top pole of the scooter. Cruise control is activated by simply holding down the gas button. This is a full-size scooter good for adults I am almost 6 feet tall and write it nicely. Great purchase I had a lot of great time with it.

    Lightweight and convenient
    Love this scooter, make my road trip much more fun. Here are what I like about it. Small size and lightweight. Normally I put it on my car and use it where I park my car and work place. Because i usually park far away from my work place, it usually will take my 15 mins walk. Now with this scooter, only 3 mins. . Love it so far, and the battery last for couple days.

    This electric scooter is pretty rad! It came to me nice and safely packaged. The initial setup and install literally took me like 5minutes. There is nothing fumbling or complicated about it. Unscrew the cover/place holder, place handle bars on, and rescrew the bolts back in. That's it! Charge it up before using and you're golden. The instructions for powering it on, turning on the headlight, and using the cruise control could not be simpler. I have ridden a friends e-scooter before making my purchase. His scooter is much heavier, i suspect due to the battery. This one is slimmer and sleeker which I guess helps with weight reduction. If there are any other differences, this does not have a built in tail light, or general lights on the sides. It leverages reflector tape/stickers instead. Also, on my NYC streets, i noticed that th rear brake rattles a bit. I applied some rubber foam to the area to stop the rattling. Overall, i'm happy with the price paid and would recommend this scooter to others.

    Nice scooter with nice big tires.
    It's my first ever electric scooter. It says for kids or young people but definitely any adult can use it. Comparing to the rental ones on the street, the tires are good enough big. Power is good. But brakes are not good as the rental ones. Overall it's a satisfying scooter for a beginner or as a gift.
