This is a great product
This is a great notebook. It is very easy to set up. You can use your voice to set it up. You can set it up for games. This is great for gamers. The sound is awesome to hear everything. It works well with. The internet we have. No lagging at all. It also comes with windows 10. It's great for office work or school work and great for just personal use. A gateway was my first computer. And this one will not disappoint.

don't waste your money
beautiful out of the box haven't had it a week yet and I'm having trouble. keyboard lights up only when I turn it on,wifi connection worked perfectly until today March 19 and I'm posting March 22, I reset it to factory settings. turned it off and on. waiting on it to do something other than be an over priced paper weight. do not buy this...do not buy this.

    My son decided to pull several keys off of my wife's laptop. She is taking my Evoo with a i7-9750h and GTX 1650. Purchased this one when it went down to $599. The GTX 1650 in this one has GDDR6 but only 896 CUDA cores as compared to my Evoo's GDDR5 and 1024 CUDA cores. 3DMark shows them within 200 points of each other, with this Gateway having the edge. That edge could have come from the Ryzen 4600h as it had about 700 more points in 3DMark vs the 9750h. I moved my Silicon Power 512GB nvme drive from the EVOO and put in a 1TB WD Blue nvme for storage. Unlike the EVOO, this computer does not have a connector for a 2.5" HDD/SSD. I saw somewhere that neither M.2 support SATA, but I cannot find the source. to verify now. I also upped the RAM to 32GB (2x16GB) G.Skill 3200Mhz CAS22 kit. It recognized the RAM without issue. The 4600h is close to a desktop 3700x in terms of single core, but is outclassed in multi-core of course. The keyboard can only be one colour at a time and the colours are not exactly accurate. The white has a blue tint and reds are pink-ish (or light-ish red if you will). I will probably leave it on a darker blue and call it good. If you can get this for the $599, it's a great deal as you will need to upgrade your RAM (single channel is a hindrance) and your storage (256GB is not enough any more). An 8GB stick of Crucial 3200mhz CAS22 (which is what this laptop has) can be found on the egg for about $40 and you can get a WD Blue 1TB here at Walmart for about $100. Both prices are as of time of writing this and do not include taxes or shipping charges of course.

    Perfect laptop for gaming!
    The Gateway Creator Series 15.6" Performance Notebook is awesome! There are so many cool things about it. I am a gamer and I immediately installed Steam and downloaded my most played games. My games run with no issues and I can even host local when playing with other gamers online (Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, etc). The fully customizable keyboard works really well - I have it set to continue changing through the colors. I enjoy gaming at night after the kids go to bed and it makes it so much easier to find the keys when playing. I LOVE that the power cord insert is located in the back of the laptop as previous experience, especially with children, means a snapped off power cord from the side. My husband still can't wait to get his hands on this laptop so he can play Rainbow Six Siege because of the gaming specs. The video card in this laptop is better than any other computer in our house! - considering we have 2 fully customized gaming pcs, and several laptops, that is amazing. The quality of the video is so clear and I can play on highest settings depending on the game. One oddity I found was that the web cam is located on the bottom of the screen instead of the top so it took some getting used to for video-conferencing but no big deal. The sound quality is also great. The volume adjustment is perfect. On my old laptop, the highest possible setting, it was hard to hear anything with the slightest noise in the background. Again, not the case here. I've adjusted it several times when streaming videos, gaming or working and had no problems. I also love how secure this laptop feels. I'm used to a plasticky-feel and this thing is nothing like that. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable transporting it from room to room without concern. Given the price on this, I would definitely recommend to any gamer looking to buy a new one. I promise you'll love the video quality!

    This notebook has a lot of great features. The audio (it also has thx) is very clear and the graphics are amazing. This laptop has two modes, Office and Gaming and allows for a seamless switch at the touch of a button. The keyboard is backlit and there are tons of different colors to select, you can also set it to continuously change colors. There are vents on all four sides for better air flow and you have the option of increasing the fan speed. This notebook is lightweight and thin so it can easily travel. I have had a movie streaming while running a first person shooter without a drop in the frame rate. I have also been able to multi task by being in a virtual meeting while emailing and searching the web with no issues. The battery fully charged shows a run time of 5 hours. This notebook is a great multipurpose tool and entertainment device all in one. The downside for me was that this laptop does not have a disk drive.

    I Love This Laptop!
    This laptop is sleek, lightweight, and easy to set up right out of the box as it guides you through the set up right when you turn it on the first time. It does not come with a cd or manual,, but it does provide a website and phone number contact. I love that it looks very clean, the display has a very thin black outline and the resolution is super sharp. The keys have a very soft touch. One cool feature is that the keyboard has backlighting that can be set to any color you like or it can just go through colors automatically. You can adjust the amount of the backlight or turn it off. I love this feature. Sets it apart from all other laptops I've owned. Computing speed is good, but i don't have much on it yet, so we'll see about that. It is very quiet, unlike my other laptop that you can hear the hard drive and fan spinning at times. The only critique I have is that I work from home and do a lot of number entry by touch. The keyboard has the 0 right under the 2, so I am not able to do 10 key by touch with it, but I use a wireless desktop keyboard, so that is not an issue for me, but thought I'd mention it in case it's important to you. So over all I love it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

    I want one!
    The intended purpose of this laptop is a gift for my college student because the one here got for high school graduation is just too slow and he's always borrowing mine. Of course we got it out and set everything up. I guess I didn't notice the backlit keyboard in the description. It's BLUE! I LOVE IT! It took less than 5 minutes to set up and it's lightning fast. Plus it comes with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Bonus for my gamer. I want to keep it for myself, but I know my son is going to absolutely love this.

    Beautiful laptop!
    I absolutely love this laptop. It is great for doing work. It is perfect size and has a very sleek design. I love the fact that it has the number keys on the right hand side like a normal keyboard. I dont see very many laptops with that. The computer its self is pretty fast and the graphics are nice and crisp. Setup was a breeze! I was able to use voice commands and set it up within 5 minutes. You can get an Xbox game pass for $1 which is pretty cool as well and worth the money. Overally it is a very nice laptop and I would recommend 100%

    I grew up using gateway computers so to see them back makes me happy. This gateway laptop came very well packaged and secure. It was very easy to set up and begin use. It has cortana which is a voice activate service that you can speak to the computer or it can speak to you. The screen is the perfect size and the keyboard lights up. That is very helpful for when you using it in not the best lighting. It has plenty of hdmi and USB ports that there is no issue. It is very lightweight so holding it or carrying it for long periods of tine is not a problem! Overall I love this laptop and glad to see gateway back!

    Amazing Performance!
    I love love it! I always want a laptop that is reliable when it comes to performance And Battery! This is a motherload of all the specs and ability to Multitask, playing games is a plus too! The size and weight is also comfortable to carry arround and travelling! It is also great for Remote Class, virtual meeting and talking to your friends, family or classmates! The webcam is HD! Wow! The sound is also amazing! I love the graphics and performance too when playing games, 5hours of battery! Wowowowow! I highly recommend it, it is such a great investment! Must have! Shipping is amazingly fast too!
