This shirt was Exactly what I had hoped for
When I was looking at the sizing my husband was skeptical, but I was hopeful that it would fit much better than the sizes he had given me and were in my opinion too small for him now. When he tried them on, they were a perfect fit for the description that was given and checked against the sizing chart. Couldn't have asked for a better price and quality. Love this.

Some things you just can't shop online for.
Received my new shirt in the mail and behold, the shirt looks great but not on me. I wasn't aware that the shirt had "skinny arm" I guess to go with skinny jeans but I don't ware either. What would a big and tall guy like myself look like in skinny apparel? Anyway, someone got blessed with a new shirt because I didn't want the hassle so I dropped it off at Goodwill for someone who can use it.

    Great for the office or a night on the town . . .
    I love these shirts. I bought one of these shirts to see if it would work for me. The price is very favorable and it fit perfectly. I ended up buy six or seven more of these. I work in a business casual environment. Partner this shirt with a pair of khakis and some well maintained loafers and fit right in. I don't even have to think about what to wear. Throw on the blue sports coat and you're ready for a night on the town. I would have rated this shirt a five but the fabric is a little thinner than what I normally expect from a "store brand". Still, a great value! Try one.

    Sizing system has changed
    I've been buying George (and before that Puritan) shirts from Walmart for many years, always in the same size (2XL 50-52). I purchased three new ones on line and they are significantly larger than any of the others I've ever bought. Too large for me to wear. Full marks to Walmart for issuing an immediate refund, but buyers should be aware that the sizing system seems to have changed.

    I embroider on this shirt for brides and it is easy to work with and looks good. I have not washed it so dont know how it looks after washing

    Production cost cutting affects quality . . .
    Earlier versions of the Oxford button down had a very nice collar button on a flex tab that gave you about 3/4" of extra play for comfort. Sorry to see it gone.

    Great Shirt!
    I bought several of these shirts for my bridesmaids to wear in "boyfriend style" fashion for wedding day preparations. The shirts fit the bill perfectly...nice and loose and comfortable to move around in.

    Every time a new product
    I've bought several of these George shirts over the years and every time it's basically a different product. All of them offer good value, but you don't know what you are going to get in advance. This new version has a thinner cloth than previous ones and disproportionately long sleeves and collar. I bought a 3X XXL and it's designed for a body builder, not an overweight middle aged man. Without consistency you can order the same product you ordered last time and get something very different.
