Way overpriced
This stuff is overpriced. Cafe Bustelo is just as good and probably less than a third the price of this stuff

    And the winner is Gevalia.
    For the longest time I routinely bought Starbucks espresso coffee for use at home. Every now and then I would be having breakfast in a restaurant and would like their coffee better. You would think I would just ask the server what brand of coffee they used but I never thought of it. So I started buying all sorts of other brands (12 in all) looking for a special one. It was Gevalia. Taste is a very subjective thing so, though I really like it you may not. There is just this extra bite to it.

    What happened to the smoothness of Gevalia?
    Something has changed in this brand's flavor. Like something is "off." Have used Gevalia for years, but recently noticed it is a bit bitter. Husband noticed a change, too.

    I use one scoop of Gevalia Espresso with one scoop of Gevalia Decaf coffee to make a Latte. You won't find a smoother blend in any Barista like this. Their coffee is a smooth strong. Add whipped milk and you will be hooked forever.

    I really like this
    I really like this espresso roast. It is smooth and not bitter. Usually I top off my favorite medium roast with this for an extra boost but my boyfriend and I also like it alone like a regular cup of coffee. It is my go to espresso ground roast at an affordable price.

    Gevalia does a great espresso for espresso maker
    Wonderful espresso blend from Gevalia. We also get Seattle coffees delivered to our door, but this is a wonderfully strong espresso we use in our espresso maker. I highly recommend it! Plus, it's a great price!

    a delicious robust coffee flavor...
    This is worth every penny. I love a potent but NOT bitter coffee taste. Over the years, I found myself adding more and more coffee grounds to the basket to get the stronger flavor (not to successful either). This coffee gives me that rich coffee flavor I have not been able to get from the many brands I have tried. It is good coffee, #1 importance but it is also a VERY fine grind, which helps to release more flavor. WARNING: because of the fine ground that it is, if you overfill the basket, as I did with the first pot (habit from weaker brands), it clogs the filter and a backwash of the grounds entered the pot. You really won't need to overfill with this delicious coffee. Hope this helps.:)
