Great tire! Best we ever owned!
Purchased these tires new for our Honda Pilot. When we traded the pilot 60,000+ miles later the dealer said "at least the tires are still good". Even with that many miles they still had plenty of tread left and handled well. Miss the pilot, but miss the tires more...lol. Shopping for tires now for my Lincoln Towncar and have decided this will be the only tire for me!

Bad experience with tires - Store or Product fault - unknown
Unfortunately, my experience with Good Year Assurance tires was not a grand as many others. On August 5, 2016, I purchased an allegedly new set of Good Year Assurance tires. October 2016, I returned to the location because my tire pressure light was on. I was advised that external factors such as weather and my residential parking could be a factor. I've averaged getting free air at the location of purchase at least every two to three months, and had the tires rotated as recommended. June 2018, upon getting an oil changed, I was advised that I needed tires. I'd bought Good Year Assurances tires, P225/65R/17, with a 70K miles tread life, and I had under 30k miles on the tires. August 4, 2018, I go for a tire rotation at the store of purchase, and am told that the associate could not service my tires, and my only option for their services would be to buy a new set of tires at 70% of the original purchase price.

    Shocked and disappointed!
These are Assurance Ultratour. They have 70,000 Mile rating and we got 24,000 miles only! Appreciate the warranty that gives us a pro-rated credit for tread used , but too afraid to buy Goodyear tires and need to spend this amount of money every 15 months-ugh! Why make a tire that handles expertly, provides quiet ride, affordable price (so we thought ) and wears 3x faster than rated?????

    Not for winter
Bought these to replace oem tire that had good winter traction but poor ride quality, and low mileage life. These tires ride quiet, and soft , but handling and traction in snow ,ice ,slop, is almost unsatisfactory. So if you live in the north, I'd go for better traction models.

I think these were the worst tires I ever owned.
Had the tires approximately 18 months, they had less than 20,000 miles on them Were awful in snow, we live in an area with hills, not really steep ones, but were unable to make it up them. Also sometimes slide in rainy weather going around corners. We also had 3 flats in the time we had them, 2 within 2 weeks in the winter previously we hadn't had a flat tire in years.

    poor wearing product.
Very disappointed w/ this purchase. These tires did not make two years and were well maintained w/ one tire out of round wearing flat spots. This product was purchased in 02-2015 replaced this 12-2016 after only 35,000 miles on a 65,000mile warranty.

Outstanding Choice for my Type Vehical
This is my second set of these tires on this vehicle. These tires offer me a great ride. They are quiet, smooth and handle well. Because my vehicle is considered a small to mid-size SUV my limited option of tires fell into the light truck/utility tire which I found to be very loud riding especially at highway speeds. My family even refused to ride with me if we needed to be on the highway for awhile. That was until I discovered Goodyear Assurance All Season and they fit my vehicle! These tires offer an extremely quit ride even at highway speeds. I almost sold this car because of the ride noise thinking it was just the way it rode. Was I ever wrong, it was the factory equipped light truck tires. These Goodyear Assurance saved me a lot of time and hassle as I honestly was going to do a trade in. Since I found these tires a few years ago I now love my SUV and how it rides and handles. My family will now ride with me and we don't have to shout over the tire noise to be heard!

Best tire I've ever had on any car!!
This is the second set of these I've owned. Both have been on a Subaru Forester (2009 & 2013). I wasn't happy with the original tires that came on the care - didn't feel comfortable with them in the winter. The Assurance All Season make a lot of difference with overall ride and comfort.

    Road noise is extremely annoying.
Have been driving on 4 new tires for past 6 months. They handle well in snow and wet weather, BUT the road noise is horrible, especially with freeway driving. If I am listening to a book or the radio, I must turn the volume way up or use headphones. I have never had tires before that make as much noise as these All-Season Assurance tires. Will never purchase them again.

    very good tires
I put a lot of miles on my car each year. These miles are anything from driving in major metropolitan areas, to the Badlands of North Dakota, to the northern most roads of Minnesota. I have been running upper end tires for many years. These are a very good tire. They handle great, have excellent traction in snow, ice, dry, and wet roads. When I purchase tires, I am not concerned about tire wear, but handling and performance, and these do BOTH. And one last thing, I did some checking, and my tires are made in the U.S.A.. And Union made. Great Combination ! Great handling and performance and someone gets a Great Job !
