Good lightbulbs
These are pretty good lightbulbs that put out a good amount of light. I enjoy that they don't put out heat like standard bulbs. I live in Arizona and we don't need any additional heat sources in this state. The dimmer option is nice too. I definitely recommend.

Wrong size base
Be careful and pay attention to the size base you purchase. Unfortunately, the screw-in section of the "medium" base is much too long for my unit. Even screwed all the way into my dimmable unit the lights would not come on. I love the shape and the size of the bulb itself but the screw-in portion of the base is just too long for my unit.

    Looks nice. Bright bluish light. Buy on sale.
    Does not put out the same amount of light as a 60 watt clear candle shape bulb. The daylight bulb does help out because of the color output of the bulb. These are also 40 watt bulbs so I wasn't expecting as much light. They fit our light fixture in our bathroom. They do put out plenty of light for the guest bathroom. I have changed all the bulbs out to led in the house. I would not recommend this for the main bathroom. I would buy the 60 watt bulb in daylight. I bought these on sale so I thought I would try them. They do look nice. I don't care for the writing but its not that obvious. They supposed to last up to 11 years. I haven't had them long enough to give a review for length of service. My other led bulbs do very well. Thanks, Andy

    What a Great Value!
    Well, as my luck would have it, I received this 4 pack of Great Value 40w equivalent LED bulbs for review about two weeks after we purchased another brand for my sons bedroom fixtures. I mention that, without naming prices, because the Great Value bulbs were approximately 3 times less expensive. Other than the fact that these are coded Daylight compared to Soft White, everything else listed on the boxes were exactly the same:13.7 years life @ 300 lumens brightness, based on 3hrs use per day. 4 watts energy use per bulb (about the same as a conventional night light). Estimated cost 48 cents per year per bulb, and both brands are dimmable. The glass part of the bulb is actually the same size as the incandescent bulb it replaced in the dining room fixture, seen in my second picture. The screw in base is about 1/2 longer, causing it to stick out of the bottom. That`s really the only negative I have, I guess we`ll have to wait 17.3 years to see if they live up to that estimate. If you do the math though, you`ll see these bulbs really are a Great Value!

    Love the daylight bulbs
    I used these to replace the warm white fluorescent bulbs in the ceiling fan in my sunroom. They are much more attractive and they provide a cool crisp light! My preference is daylight bulbs and as light bulbs in my house need replacing, I'm changing everything over to daylight LEDs. These use very little energy, yet provide a tremendous amount of light. Great Value brand provides a quality product at very reasonable prices.

    Bright lights
    I love these candelabra bulbs. I never realized the difference it would make to have ‘daylight' bulbs. My globes are amber and these bulbs really brighten them up. And they don't get hot either. I hope they will last a lot longer than regular bulbs. I took one picture with the old bulbs and one with the new ones.

    4watt LED DECO BULB
    These are the style bulbs I prefer over the round bulbs in overhead lights or ceiling fan as they are prettier in my opinion. These are Daylight which is very bright, more like a fluorescent light with a starker bluish tone. Very bright. If looking for a warmer ambient lighting these would not be the right ones. But Wal-Mart sells them also in the warmer tone. I like using these in my candle style night lights that take the standard small 4-7 watt bulbs because they put out a lot more light, think will be great for window candles at Christmas time. I exchanged them in my ceiling fan in the kitchen over my piano. The fan came with 3- 60 watt incandescent bulbs and not only are these much brighter making it easier to read my music, but went from using 180 watts to only 12 watts! Now that is a HUGE difference! My electric bill will be lower as that light is on for hours every night. The bulbs are dimmable, there are 4 in the pack, and they are CHANDALIER type base, won't fit in a standard lamp socket. These are a great choice, LEDs last for years and the wattage savings with much brighter light is wonderful. You will save money using them.

    these bulbs at a budget price work perfect in our light . love the energy savings of LED,provide adequate light and are dimmable. i will purchase more of the Great Value brand bulbs in the future as these are a great price and compare with the brand name bulbs but fit my budget for savings .

    Excellent replacement bulb for lights and lamps
    These are great LED replacement bulbs for a variety of lights or lamps. They give off a very nice and bright light while using a minimal amount of energy. It has a very classic design and an attractive look that was perfect for my sconce light by my front door, all while saving me money on my electric bill.

    Great light bulb set
    The Great Value four pack LED decorative light bulbs give off an amazing light. The dimmable forty watt bulbs are efficient and very easy to install. The light is soft and provide enough lighting for any room. They are rated for indoor/outdoor and enclosed fixtures. Make sure the light bulbs are compatible with your appliances that can be confirmed at www.walmart.com as they may not work in all appliances. I definitely enjoy the light they provide and like the longevity of their life.
