First real book I have bought and love it.
Very personal down to earth, true to life , I enjoy reading the side notes. ( sticky notes from his past ) every page is full of surprises of his life I never would have guessed.

    Loved how REAL he was about his Life and the Ups and downs he faced in his life. He helps you by sharing his own life in this book and IM NOT A BOOK READER. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK.

    Love the Author, Loved His Book!
    Well, the book was engaging and well written. I liked his stories that were in the book. i especially enjoyed his exchange student description. This author has grit. I admire that and could relate. The ideas from this book to survive a tough situation are very good.

    A candid autobiography of America's leading man.
    Matthew McConaughey shares his search for truth and meaning in his life, with all raw candor, nothing held back. Interesting read which may just get you thinking about your own truth. Recommended for adults only due to graphic language.

    Quite enjoyable. Wish it was on Kindle.
    I loved the writing style and original presentation but it was very hard to see the print or handwriting on many of the photos of original notes and entries. Sometimes the binding of the book obscured some of the phot in the center. The philosophy was uplifting and entertaining. I disliked the waxy surface of the cover very much.

    Dont miss this one!!
    Great book! Laugh, belly laugh and even almost cry. Its a great book. Get the Audible book as well to hear narration by the author himself but need the book for all the great pictures and one liners you will want to go back and read again!! Dont skip this book. Its a good one!
