good tools, some size redundancies
tool set received without damage. no missing tool. ratchets are made in Taiwan and tested working. all other tools are made in China. the two doors that hold up the two bottom trays kind of tight and by inserting the 1/4 drive bit driver or a regular screwdriver all the way into the hinge part you may easily pry the door open. the embossed size labels on the tray can barely read. I use paint marker to color the labels so them stand out perfectly. the tools sets are extremely heavy to me, so when I need to load the tool set to a vehicle, I take out the bottom trays and move them separately. would be better if it includes 1/8 in or 3 mm.

Tools will Rust
Too bad as initial thoughts tools and storage toolbox were good. However, tools will rust and customer service will ignore you. Stay away.

    Great tools in one box for a great price.
    This was purchased at a great price. I have most of these tools already in my rolling tool cart. Now I can have the same or more tools in one complete package. I can pick it up, put it in my car and fix almost anything. This is a great set of tools in one tool box.

    Needs more wrenches.
    I havent had it long to really test out the durability of the tools, but it seems on par with many other brands. The storage case has nice metal latches instead of the plastic snap flaps of some others. I'm not sure why this kit comes with allen key wrenches, as well as allen bits, doesnt seem like the best choice for limited piece set. It is really lacking in a wrench assortment. I'm going to guess thats why they came out with a newer kit, that seems the same, but has 5 more wrenches.

    Excellent set - great quality - great price. What more can you ask for? Thank you! On sale - this set was comparable to other sets that were more than TWICE the price. But that does not mean a lack of quality -- no -- instead that quality is as good -- if not better.

    Look elsewhere for a better set w easy warranty
    I bought this set to use on the road but I'll probably not keeping it since I can buy a better set at another store for not much more. Cons: Not enough extensions Mechanics set, but it's missing spark plug sockets! Case is oversized and poorly laid out Need more combo wrenches.... only goes up to 1/2".... Too many cheap bits No breaker bar No extra storage space Tools can't be warrantied in store like other stores

    Nice tools for the money!
    I really like this set, wasn't expecting to much but I was surprised at the quality of these tools. Ratchets are solid with no play in them, certainly enough sockets and drives! the actual tool box itself is pretty hefty, the 2 slide outs are difficult to pull out but I'm not complaining given that this set was only $79. Get yourself a screwdriver set and a plier set and this makes a wonderful set for not much money at all.

    And absolute steal for the amount of tools.
    I tried HART brand driver bits for the first time 3 years ago for is 64 piece driver bit set for$20. I have nothing but good things to say about them in their fit and longevity for the price. So when I saw this 270 piece kit reduced down to 79.99; I jumped on it knowing how good their driver bits were. In over 3 years of using heartbrand drivers and manual tools; I've never had a breakage and only four driver bits that went bad to the point of being unusable. I'm actually still using the same kit that I bought 3 years ago. Where I've actually had more name brand DeWalt bits break on me. Haven't had a chance to use all of these tools yet; but based on the performance of their driver bits and a ratchet that I bought previously; I expect nothing but good things especially for the price. Even if they didn't last that long at this price point; you can't beat it. The case that it came in is very rugged and heavy duty as well so I can be sure that all of my bits will stay in place and the organization is amazing. Only thing I wish is that it were able to attach to the rolling stack that I bought previously to make it easier to transport to jobs, and it would be nice if it had a locking system. At the price point; even if I only got a single use out of every single bit or socket in this kit; and each task took me only a minute to perform; at 270 individual tools I would still have four and a half hours of work time invested. My handyman pay rate is $37.50 an hour. So even if I only got one use and one minute out of each tool; at the price I paid which was $79.99 I will have made $168.75; more than doubling my money with only four and a half hours of time. Knowing how long the driver bits have lasted; this is an absolute steal. Now I'm not so keen on HART brand power tools; but their driver bits and solid manual tools have never failed me. Anyone who passes this up at $79.99 is crazy.

    Great buy if it's on sale
    I bought this set on clearance for a great price and it is a fairly comprehensive tool set. i like the case and the 90 tooth ratchets feel great. There is quite a bit of "filler" items in this set which is disappointing. for some reason there are 2 identical allen key sets included soley to add an additional 20 pieces to the count but with no real world benefit, it's the same with some of the 1/4 driver bits having doubles just to pump the numbers. I'm very pleased with the tools in general and if you pay any less than $100 for this then it's super worth it. i do wish that hart had spent a bit more time with the order and organization of the tools in the case as there's not much rhyme or reason as to where tools are placed.

    Amazing affordable tool set
    I received this set as a christmas gift and honestly was weary of the quality of the tools (i'm known for being pretty hard on tools lol).. I was shocked by how nicely made these tools are.. well worth the money!

    This is a great set to buy. It has everything most people would need. The case is sturdy and the drawers lock into place very securely. The tools themselves have a good feel to them. Anyone looking for a new set should definitely consider this.
