Best buy ever
I got the first big impression when I removed it from the box and I saw the aluminum front, these quality details are appreciated. It is not the lightest, but not very heavy, remember that it is 15.6 ". Then came the incredible 6-second start thanks to the ssd. The speakers have a relief that helps distribute the sound, although it is not loud, it is clear. The screen is full hd with an IPS panel, which in minimal brightness has an enviable clarity even in interiors with natural luminosity (the photo was taken inside with the window open), after two days, i didn´t need to use high brightness yet. The keyboard is the perfect size, it`s not noisy, and its better than Lenovo´s, it would have been excellent to offer backlighting on it, becouse it doesn´t help the contrast of the key letters. We are not going to talk about the technical characteristics of the equipment, it complies perfectly with the detailed in the description. I can use simple design programs such as photoshop, illustrator, internet and listen spotify at the same time. A slot to increase the ram memory is available, which I plan to do, after a while for the warranty. I paid for this equipment 399 boxes, and honestly I could not have made a better investment of my money, not only for savings, also because this equipment is valid for at least 4 more years. I still didn't measure the baterry, but I've been using word and listening to music an hour and a half ago, and I just used 30%. The camera has an acceptable quality, and all the drivers have to be updated, since the Wi-Fi is lost after 5 minutes and requires a restart. After updating, you just have to enjoy. So, don´t think any secon more, buy this laptop, it´s perfect for anything you need.

BUYER BEWARE - the specs on walmart.com are not correct!! In the product overview/key features section it clearly states that the USB-C can power your device or connect to an external display. The USB-C on this device is only compatible for data transfer. Of course I find this out after my return window and don't have any options. I will gladly return the laptop for store credit to purchase something else if walmart would let me. Very disappointed with this purchase. Wuld l

    This computer has been fantastic! Bought it to replace my gaming computer that lasted about two months from a different company. Never should have switched from HP, I love it!

    An ITs review
    I wrote a huge article then accidentally lost it. Here's an actual ITs review of this laptop condensed (and voice to text) because I don't feel like rewriting everything. If this laptop is on sale purchase it and then upgrade the ram if you want to game. Out of the box it won't game well but it's easy to fix that. You can buy an upgraded heatsink for the higher-end model that includes a dedicated graphics card that is two heat pipes instead of this model's single heat pipe. That alone does a massive improvement in keeping the processor cooler and allowing you to get better performance. The upgraded model has two fans this model has one, the header is existent for a second one and has power but disabled at a very low level and can't be turned on. Once the heat sink is upgraded in the RAM is upgraded (don't go beyond the limits of the cpu with ram upgrade) then you can get some decent performance for some* games at low quality. *For the majority of games at low level you'll need to get that open source ryzen control software to increase it's performance BUT make sure you ask your ITs suave friend about all of this before you jump into it. The heatsink upgrade can short (fry) your laptop, the overclock can sorta cook your laptop (safety shutoffs are industry standards) and the ram can...waste money if you don't understand it all.

    Better than expected!
    When I saw the laptop on the Walmart app, I was a little skeptical between choosing this or a smaller hp laptop with an Intel processor. I'm so glad I went with this because the laptop looks better than it does in the pictures! The screen looks absolutely amazing despite only being 1080p. To me, the pictures made the laptop look clunky and gargantuan but it's actually the perfect size. If you are now how I was before, afraid to try out Amd processors after being used to Intel your whole life, don't be. It performs better than you think.

After receiving it back I got a notification that it still needed 10 updates, I started to install them, this took a very long time and 1 out of 4 updates would not install. I am not thrilled with the battery life either, I charged the battery completely before attempting the updates and the battery went dead before I could finish(about 4-5 hours). I have been able to access and perform everything on the HP laptop that I am able to do on my desktop pc - 3D games online without having to download an app, documents, built-in Xbox, video chat/skype, etc. I don't like that the touch screen and keyboard can't be used together, you need to switch back and forth. I feel it really should have a backlit keyboard, this would make night use so much easier... If you are looking for a very complex laptop that will take the place of a desktop pc then this is for you. But if you are wanting to visit social media, email, chat, etc then I would recommend something else easier to use like a Chromebook for example.

    This was very easy to setup. Once setup I noticed this is very fast due to the ssd drive and processor. No bloated software to deal with like my last laptop had. I am very pleased with the look and feel of this model.

    Really good laptop. Bad for heavy gaming.
    I have Own Apple computers for the past 15 years. This is my first Windows experience in a long time. Set up of the laptop was very easy walk you through all the steps. I have read reviews on windows interface and I can say I don't mind at all. I do enjoy the start menu where you can pin your most favorite apps. The computer has an amazing screen great clarity for watching movies or playing games.I was excited to get this because I have Xbox game pass and would be able to download games on his PC. Trying to play some of the newer games out like gears five the computer really struggled with this type of game. I did download lower quality games and they work perfectly fine. If you're playing games listening to music the audio is very good. One thing I don't like is the keyboard the keyboard has the extra number pad on the right hand side which off-center is the actual keyboard. I know it's something minor but typing out emails starts to feel awkward after a while. Depending on what you're doing or playing on the computer battery life is very decent I can get a good day day and a half depending on what I'm doing. The battery does charge pretty fast for a laptop. If you're looking at this computer for heavy gaming I would not recommend it. I would recommend this laptop for every day use with Low end gaming. Because laptop has been a very good experience for the first time Windows user in over 15 years

    Really good laptop all around
    I couldn't be happier with this laptop. It's thin and light weight, with a big clear screen. I wanted something that I could use for everyday stuff like writing documents and checking email and also something that could handle games and graphics as well. This laptop has all of that covered so far. Very pleased with the look and the performance.
