We bought this A/C unit a month ago. It is very loud thunking noise when shifting from fan to A/C compressor. It cycles on and off compressor every 3-5 mins in the middle of the night and wakes me up. I had another one before this that was a better option so I am going to buy a different unit and return this one.

    PIECE OF JUNK
    Bought last year, 2020. Started out t find within one week it was blowing water out the side all over the place. Tank was not full, light didn't come on. Husband thinks float not working properly. Started up two days ago, now it only blows air, compressor isn't working. Everything is done properly, it's level, distance away from everything. Expensive piece of junk.

    Excellent cooling if you like the air to go up, I am very unhappy with this unit because it needs a deflector so the air goes out. I used a floor vent deflector but is not large or curved enough.

    Don't recommend
    Doesn't cool off a 300 sq ft room with the ac staying on constantly and racking up a pretty good electric bill.
