Sturdy shelving
This shelving unit is made of a strong, sturdy, quality steel with a black matte finish and three grated wire shelves that are adjustable to your needs for storage. The product manufacturer claims that each shelf will hold up to 1500 lbs and with the sturdy bracing I believe it! This unit is very well constructed! Measuring 48W x 18"D x 48"H this shelving is a good size for storage containers, organization of garage material, basements, ECT. I'm using my shelving in the basement for storage containers. As for assembling this shelving unit it was fairly easy once you get the first beam inserted in the notches of your choice just tap with a rubber mallet starting with the bottom beams. The hardest part for me was putting the cross beams on with the screws and nuts provided because the holes are located in a hard-to-reach location but eventually I was able to put them in. There was also a slight problem with the nuts and bolts there was supposed to be six screws and nuts but the small bag had a hole and I only received five of each. Nevertheless I would definitely recommend this shelving unit it is very strong and durable!

Extremely strong!
This heavy duty shelf unit is definitely heavy duty. It is extremely strong and can handle A substantial amount of weight. Everything was included in the box needed to assemble it of course except a mallet to bang it pieces into place very pleased With the look on the results.

    Hart Shelving For the Win.
    Very well made and easy to assemble. Perfect smaller size for the location I needed to use it (under a window in the garage) Extremely strong when assembled correctly. An advantage of having the steel grid shelves is that you can have items with wheels that will stay put where they are placed and can also use as a slot to store tools like my hedge trimmers. (see photo) Very happy with my purchase and feel it was an excellent value for the money. 10/10 would buy again. Hope to see a larger version of this down the road and just purchased (in store) the HART 5 heavy duty shelf unit with steel grid shelves instead of the particle board. I don't see this one available yet online. Also have 3 of the HART plastic 4 shelf units. Better prices than Harbor Freight as well. Everything better than expected.

    Awesome and affordable
    Really happy with this purchase! Was looking for something affordable but not too expensive to organize the garage. It isn't heavy at all so carrying the packages from the porch to the garage was easy for me to do alone. Assembly was even easier, I was able to build both in less than 30 minutes and the only tool needed was a hammer.

    Sturdy Shelf
    I received the Hart shelving system and without hesitation I can say it is well built. It is all made with quality metal. The frame and shelf braces assemble with notched tabs. It does require a mallet to help force the tabs into the cutouts more securely. You may or may not need to, but I felt it came together tighter with a little hammering. The center braces for the wire shelves must be attached with nuts and bolts. This was the only part that took a little longer. The bolts required being inserted into a well within the brace. Bigger hands may require use of tool to set the bolt in the holes. Overall, the shelves only took about 10 mins to put together. The amount of weight this unit can handle is impressive. I will not be placing that much weight on it but still is a large amount of weight that it can handle. The metal finish is kind of gunmetal in color. It is a nice-looking shelf unit. It does not look flimsy and stands straight and sturdy. There is not any wobble in the structure after assembly. It is solid! I would recommend the shelving unit to anyone. I will not have to worry about any spills rotting or deteriorating the particle boards you get with many shelf systems. Yes, the grated shelves can be subject to item falling through but this unit is made for larger heavy items. It does what I need it too. It is a great product. Well done Hart!

    I have received this shelving unit from Hart. When I received this package it was super easy to put together. Once I took it out of the package it only took about 15 minutes to put it together. This came with easy to follow instructions which included pictures and all the parts that are needed to put it together. This shelving unit is so strong. This has a welded steel frame and beams so you won't need to worry about this falling apart. This shelf is so strong it can hold up to 1500 pounds! This has three shelves that are wire. I like that if you need to, you can adjust the shelves. I am using this to put all of my garden stuff like tools, planters, and dirt. This measures 48 inches tall and 48 inches wide and the shelves are 18 inches deep, so this will make a great size to be able to store anything you need. There are so many ways that you can use this to organize your home or garage. Overall this is a very strong durable product, and would be a great thing to have if you are looking to get things organized.

    This Hart heavy duty shelving unit is awesome, it was easy to assemble and holds up to 15000 LBS. It has three adjustable wire shelves, this Hart is very durable, am going to use mine in the garage and l like to get another one for my basement, it would be great to hold my can goods, big coffee cans, 6 pack's of soda, you name it and it can hold it. This HART heavy duty shelving is made of steel powder coated finish and the size is 48 inches tall by 48 inches wide and 18 inches deep. This is a great size shelving for any of your needs.

    Nice, Stable and Strong Unit
    I received this Hart 48W x 18D x 48 H Heavy Duty Shelving Unit to use and write a review. First, I have ready reviews that people complained of it being hard to assemble, and taking 3 people and etc. Well, I am 73 years old, not in the best of shape but it took me one hour to assemble by myself. It is really that easy. Now, if you have someone to help it will cut your time drastically. The pieces go together very easy. Once you have a bar in place where you want the shelf to be, just push down making sure that both clips are in proper holes, then tap down with a rubber mallet. Once assembled, the wire shelves just lay in and kept in place by raised ridges on both sides of the bar. With all the bracing on this shelf unit, it is very strong. You can also opt to bolt it to the floor. It looks heavy, but is only about 50 pounds in weight. I have it pretty well loaded now and it is extremely stable. No shakes or shimmy's. I am using it in my shop to store things off the floor and make room and it works fine. I wish it had at least two more shelves and taller, but this is fine for now. I do recommend this to anyone needing a strong, stable shelving unit for home or shop. I hope this review helps someone in making a purchase decision.

    Sturdy shelving for all needs
    Super heavy duty shelving, easy to assembly. Adjustable shelves. Very sturdy. Claims to hold 1500 pounds per shelve if weight is distributed evenly. Easily holds my concrete mix and p gravel bag. You need a rubber hammer and an adjustable wrench to assemble. Took around 20 minutes and that includes unpacking.

    Huge! Sturdy!
    This is one well built shelving unit! It has three Shelves that are very spacious. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. It was also easy to assemble! It's already found a home in my garage! It holds a lot of stuff and is a welcome addition for my family. I highly recommend this shelf and plan to buy at least one more soon.
