Thermostat works great
Super easy to install. Easy directions that walked you right thru. I love being able to control from my phone. We usually just keep it on one temp day and night. This is so much easier to change. My husband didn't think it was set right and without getting out of bed I could check. wish we would've changed to this sooner.

    Cheap chinese made crap
    Almost every honeywell product has been junk the last 4 houses ive had to install them in. Dont waste your money or your time having to return this crap.

    Works great if you have a C wire terminal on your furnace and the wire itself. You can request a free adapter if you don't see a C wire.

    Requires power wired into the thermostat
    This thermostat requires a special wire to deliver power to the unit. The only house I've lived in that had power running through the thermostat had baseboard electric heat, and this thermostat won't work with those, either. If you happen to have special wiring, the features seem nice, but this thermostat is useless to me.

    This new 2 Home - WiFi 7-Day Honeywell Ho Thermost
    Replaced my very basic Honeywell thermostat with this new Honeywell Home - WiFi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat because it was time for SMARTCHANGE! This is seriously one of the QUICKEST most SIMPLEST to follow INVESTMENTS you can purchase for your families home that will REAP the BENEFITS TEN FOLD in just MONTHS! It DOESNT take a LISENCED ELECTRICIAN to INSTALL, you just have to make sure you have the C wire in order for the WIFI to CONNECT, though this is NOT NECESSARY for the UNIT TO RUN! You just wouldnt be able to use the programmable features on your phone/SMART TV ect. with it. Personally, I'm loving that it's already shutting off my air for these cooler nights were getting. Definitely worth purchasing and spreading the good word about! recommend this thermostat

    WiFi enabled thermostat
    It's many advanced features keeping current technology in mind. However it's not DIY project, in my strong opinion, AC technicians is required as it is definitely not easy to set up specially those who do not have any electrical and computer knowledge.

    Honeywell = Best Thermostats
    I've always used Honeywell thermostats and believe them to be the best. I've never had issues with them and the only time I change them out is when I want a newer model. This Honeywell Home Thermostat is wonderful too and of course very modern. Included is two screws and two mollies in addition to the instruction manual, thermostat ID card, quick start guide, and more such as little stickies to label wires. This Honeywell Home Thermostat does NOT contain mercury. Also, know that this Honeywell Home Thermostat does NOT use batteries. It's easy to get started with the Quick Start Guide. Install thermostat, Connect to your Wi-Fi network, and register online for remote access. Do be sure to read the Instruction Manual and the Quick Start Guide. Installation is easy and safety is important. This Honeywell Home thermostat can connect to the internet to monitor and control your heating/cooling system. It's so easy to use and very handy when you need to control your thermostat but not standing in front of it to do so. Highly recommend!
