Best Spare Bed Ever
I want to share a few thinks on my new Intex 15 Essential Rest Dura-Beam Air bed Mattress with Internal Pump included in Twin size . This bed is like no other air mattress it's durable with dura- beam system That keeps the bed from sagging . The bed has a velvety top layer so you Rest easy also the best part is the internal air pump just plug it in and Within a minute or two you have a twin size bed .the weight limit is 300 lbs I weight in at 250 and holds me just fine .and when your done using this device It comes with a storage bag to store away. I would recommend this product to Have around for extra company or a camping trip this multi purpose bed is a Good product . I have own several inflatable beds this one made by Intex is My best bed I will pick up another one .

INTEX does not back their defective product
After about a month, started deflating, no defects found. This can not be returned to Walmart, has to have an online claim submitted which entailed cutting mattress up %26 sending pictures as proof of purchase, if I cut it up, I have NOTHING to sleep on. Customer service employees were very difficult if not impossible to understand. Very frustrated with purchase, would never recommend INTEX as a company to purchase from due to difficulty in getting a replacement from them due to item defect

    Terrific air bed w easy assembly
    I was pretty impressed with this twin airbed especially compared to the ones I've had in the past. You just plug it in, press the ON button, turn the handle, and for me it inflated in under 2 minutes. I agree with the other positive reviews but do want to add that you should read the full instruction manual and not just the quick start guide the first time you use it. Without it I wasn't able to find the cord or figure out which button was on or off. The bed is quite firm and hard when inflated, but put a pillowtop cover on this and you'll have a pretty luxurious bed. It folds up pretty easily and fits inside a great little tote bag with handles. Not sure about finding fitted sheets that are deep enough to fit down to the bottom because this bed is quite deep. Nevertheless I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a spare for guests.

    I have always bought the traditional basic air mattresses. So I was super excited to give this Dura Beam Airbed from Intex a try. Once you try this deluxe air mattress, you will not want to go back to standard ones. This was so easy to use. Setup was quick and easy. Taking it back down was quick and easy, too. The internal pump does all the work, as long as you have easy access to a wall outlet. I also was impressed that a storage bag with carrying handles is included. I found this air mattress to be very firm and comfortable. And for older folks like me, it sure is nice that this is a higher mattress so rolling out of bed is much easier. I can comfortable sit on the edge of this mattress with my feet on the ground. This air mattress is a huge upgrade and will provide many comfortable nights. I would definitely buy more for other family members and recommend this item to friends.

    I did not know what to expect when I took this thing out of the box. First, it comes inside if a fabric carrying bag with handles and a loop-closure to hold it protected. Once removed from the bag, it appears as a folded lump as shown in one of my pictures. It is very easy for one person to unfold and lay out. After reading the directions, I found that the whole process was very simple. It comes with an attached electric power cord of about 5 feet in length, stored in a compartment next to the motor. Just plug it in, flip a switch and turn a knob and it is inflating. Once it is inflated, just turn a knob and flip the motor switch off and you are done. I timed it at about 2 minutes to full inflation. We tested the feel of it and even with both my wife and I on it, there was still plenty of room for our dogs. This is just SO well designed, it blows me away. Oh - and deflating it is as simple as inflating it, because the motor is also used in reverse mode to draw the air back out. No more rolling around on the floor with an air bed to get the air out. The materials seem very strong. It was very comfortable. Just so well designed; couldn't be simpler. Any visiting guests should be quiet comfortable on this, and the air load is adjustable by letting some air back out as desired, so if you want it less firm, that can be done as well.

    Wow, air mattresses have come a long ways! The internal pump is so cool and makes blowing up and deflating a breeze! I had a air mattress years ago that after one use I never wanted to use it again because it was such a pain to inflate and deflate. So when I tried the pump on this for the first time my mind was blown ha ha! It's so easy to use. You lay out the mattress with the velvet on top. You open the hatch on the pump and pull the plug out then plug it in. You hit the power switch then turn it to the inflate side or to the deflate side depending on what you want to do. It works very quickly. Since I just wanted to make sure it works and did not actually need to use it at this time I inflated it, laid on it to see how it felt and to make sure it didn't leak, then I deflated it and folded it back up and put back in the bag. When I took it out and inflated it I thought to myself "I don't know why they give you a bag because it'll never fit back in it" -but it totally does! As you can tell I am very impressed with my mattress and highly recommend! Always good to have on hand for quests or camping and now setting up and taking down is stress free!

    The Intex 15 Essential Rest Durabeam Aired is 15" high X 36" wide X 65" long and is made with Fiber Tech materials. The Fiber Tech materials make the Durabeam Airbed more durable and supportive than the average airbed. The Intex Durabeam Airbed has top and bottom edge support and a durabeam center support to prevent sagging and support up to 300lbs. The Intex 15 Essential Rest Airbed also comes with an internal airpump with an Airlock mechanism to inflate or deflate the airbed. This Airbed is NOT recommended for camping and the internal pump is powered by a 110 pllug in. Or can be inflated with a hand pump. Also the pump is very loud but works quickly. This is more of a guest airbed. And is SOLEY meant for indoor use. I would also recommend a nice quilted mattress cover to not only protect the mattress from spills and other stains, but also for a little extra padding. After the initial inflation the airbed materials will begin to stretch slightly and the airbed with need to be pumped up again. Do not worry it is not leaking.

    More support than you might think
    I was impressed that the Intex 15 Essential Rest Dura-Beam Airbed Mattress inflated in 4 minutes, then I had to reduce it down to my comfort level. You can make this mattress as firm or as soft as you like. I thought my 12 n. queen fitted Sheets would fit the Mattress, but no such luck, I will buy sheets to fit the 15 in. height. This Mattress is good-looking and comfortable, and worth having nice sheets that fit. The best part is it deflates to zero in 4 min. and is easy to fold up and replace in its own carry Bag in a few min.

    Great air bed mattress
    The Dura Beam Delux Full air mattress by Intex is everything it says it is. The first thing I noticed straight out of the box is how neatly it came folded in its very large carry bag. This was genius to make a bag 2x the size of the mattress. It's nearly impossible to ever fold the mattress back up to its original form and having a large bag leaves room for folding errors.  The QuickStart smart guide included in the box shows illustrations on how to inflate the mattress. This was not only really helpful but very easy to comprehend and I didn't need to go looking through a manual. Another important piece of information  was on the box itself. The inner fold of the box gives you a disclaimer that , I think is importantand frankly have never seen on any other mattress and I own 5 others.  It tells you information about the stretching of the mattress that is needed for it to fully settle. It advises that if it feels like it is leaking, it is just stretching. Also included is the temperature in which the mattress should be inflated at. "Please warm me up first" it says.  Again another vital tip that I've never read or been made aware of on other mattresses. The Full size air bed mattress measures 54 inches by 75 inches by 15 inches. The top and bottom of the mattress has extra support around the exterior. The mattress only took 3 minutes to fully inflate. It is a firm mattress and barely weighs anything. Very easy to move and lift up. This is convenient for guests to be able to position in the guest room as needed.  I enjoyed that when you went to sit on the corner of the  mattress it did not dip down. It really holds weight very well.  It is really easy to get up from as well due to the 15" height. Lastly, while laying down the mattress remains firm and does not dip on one side.  This is necessary especially if guests will be sharing the mattress. To deflate the mattress it's just a turn of the dial and it was flat in one minute. I folded the mattress along the creases and it easily fit in the large bag (again genius).  Overall this mattress pleasantly suprised me. We have several mattresses of different brands, sizes and heights. This one is definitely superior to the rest.  The fiber tech material really does make a difference.
