Good for what the market allows at this price
Been working quite well so far! I did a LOT of research to find a smaller smart tv, that wasn't too expensive. The sound, for most things, is just fine. However in a large room, or with talking people the sound hits a threshold that doesn't get higher even though you attempt to make it higher. For my quiet little room, and for videogames especially, I never have it over 20. When watching tv it can be a bit too quiet.

Terrible sound
The sound on this TV is virtually nonexistent. I just set the TV up, am sitting about 10' away with the volume cranked to 100 (full volume) and can barely hear it. I read other reviews about the terrible sound quality and thought the reviewers were being hyper critical, but no. The sound is awful. This “TV” may make a decent monitor if it is sitting directly in front of you on a desk, but if you are sitting a couple feet away, you WILL need an external sound system.

    Great Kitchen TV
    I bought this TV on August 7 to use in my kitchen. The TV works great I just wish the volume was louder. I have the volume all the way up to 100 and it's just about right. I'm looking into buying an external speaker for it.

    great TV BUT!
    Works great. Very good picture and great sound even in my large common room. BUT has an annoying problem: Every time we turn it on it defaults back to local broadcast TV. We don't even have local TV (or at least anything worth watching) so all I get is snow. Everytime I have to go thru the multiple steps to re-select YouTube-TV and then my channel. Why not just remember the state TV was in when last used??. That is certainly the way other TVs and cable boxes, and appleTV... work.

    Excellent Picture
    I bought this about a month ago for my kitchen. It is one of the few models with the pedestal stand which I really like. I was afraid it would be too big for the space but it's a perfect fit. Very sleek and attractive. I do wish it was louder and will probably purchase a little additional speaker.

    Great small TV
    I got this for my kitchen counter so it couldn't be too large. This is a perfect size. Picture quality is good. My only issue is the directions for connecting it. I feel the instructions could be a lot more detailed and clearer. We're not young people, (mid sixties) but certainly not stupid.

    This is our second LG TV. They are by far on top of their game. Easy and quick set up instructions . The color and clarity is nothing short of noteworthy. The price is equal or less than other big brands. If you're looking for a quality product, then look no further, you've found your brand!

    Pretty Fast!
    I was skeptical at first to be honest, but after using this for about a month or so, I've come to really like it! I wanted a small tv to fit in my small bedroom and this does the trick. There were some features I had trouble using like for example the screen sharing feature, but that could be because I tend to struggle with technology lol. Other than that it's pretty simple to use and has a lot of services all in one place, making it 10x easier to watch my favorite shows!

    When you do not need a big screen TV
    It fits are tv book case with plenty of extra room for wider screen. The only down size I really want a 28 inch screen. It is an improvement over the older version. I like it because it's a smart tv with LG web OS3.5 tv with over 100 free internet channels. I did not buy it for gaming.

    Beats the Vizio!
    The sound from the internal speakers is not good. My old Klipsch pro media speakers only have the mini jack , the tv has everything but, so now I shop for a sound bar. Other than that, everything performs as well as I could have expected. Netflix, Hulu, Smart TV
