Highly recommended
After some extensive research on various smart TV's the LG NanoCell was my choice. Having used it for over a month now I am extremely happy with all aspects of it. Using the smart remote navigation is a breeze, making it easy to switch to apps, USB etc. The 65" size that I purchased is an ideal size for a moderately sized room and the addition of LED lights makes night time viewing even more relaxing!

Failure after four months
After four months the picture on the right side of the screen (9 inches) developed a black patch (see attached photo). I have now been waiting for three weeks for service. Please Note: The serial # (101RM559Q054) is incorrect. It should be:101RMSS9Q054. Bottom Line: Very disappointed with this product.

    LG got everything right.
    I bought this tv 5 months ago. This is a pretty doggone good TV. LG really nailed it, getting almost everything right. The picture and sound quality are perfect.We're happy with this product.

    Love LG products as always!
    We didn't have a tv for a few weeks and was content since we sold our older smaller lg tv. One day, just came to mind that it would be nice to have a bigger one. Boy it did not disappoint! And we got it for a deal at the store! Kids are happy, husband's happy!

    Excellent Features
    We were looking to cut the cord and start streaming buT our older model LG was not up-to-date for the latest features of quality pictures and resolution. So we went with the LG 65” NANO 2020. We love the features like “ “Mirroring” with my iPhone “airplay” and the voice activated remote.

    It's me not the TV
    This TV checked all the boxes I was looking for. However the edge lit panels produced bleeding white lights along the corners and bottom areas of the screen. Watching 16:9 or letterbox movies made it very noticeable. This affected Black levels which end up looking a little grey

    Great gaming features on a budget
    I've been a fan of LG since I bought my first 3D display the LM7600, but these last few years outside of their OLED offerings had been disappointing. The 49Nano85UNA has been a very pleasant surprise and one of my favorite displays I've owned. I'll get the bad out of the way first. For years LG has pushed IPS based displays and edge lit local dimming schemes. This year they've improved their display by using an ADS-IPS panel that improves not only motion performance, but in this case greatly improves the normally disappointing contrast ratio of IPS displays. The native contrast ratio is about 1600:1, but with the local dimming applied boost close the 1800:1 mark. OLED displays have infinite contrast ratio and VA based panels start around 2000:1 and can be as high as 7000:1 without the use of local dimming. So this display is impressive for the tech and close to the lower end of VA displays. The local dimming on this used is my biggest gripe. From what I can tell the LED's are only along the bottom and possibly top edge of the TV. There are what appears to be 6-8 total zones in that cause a wide light shaft from the bottom to top of the display. I've seen some some say that they simply turn off the feature, but I've noticed in non-HDR content that the local dimming works pretty well. I bought an LED bias light for the rear of my TV that improved the perceived contrast, relieves eye strain and made the local dimming short comings nearly imperceptible. Now the good... The native 120hz goes a long way to improving motion and reducing blur in games. Pair this with 2x HDMI 2.1 inputs that allow for 4k@120fps, next gen consoles and PC GPU's will take advantage of this. Both AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync are supported as well as VRR (variable refresh rate) which eliminates screen tearing. And for gamers looking for the fastest input response time the ALLM (auto low latency mode) has you covered. From the beautiful sun drenched landscapes of Horizon zero to dark gothic architecture of Doom:Eternal you'll be awed by the visual on hand as well as floored by how quickly they blow by you at 120fps. I have recommended this display to a lot of friends wanting to make the jump to a sub-50” display that ticks all the gaming boxes. Great job LG and one day I'll make my way up to OLED, but for the time being I'm completely satisfied.

    This premium television is a perfect representation of the technology LG has to offer. The picture in my opinion is of cinematic quality. Nano technology brings clear vivid lifelike colors to this tv providing an image that is absolutely breathtaking. I honestly did not know what I was missing in an image until I purchased this television. This television has full array local dimming technology which provides deeper blacks, enhanced contrast, and precise lighting. I can be viewing the television from any angle and get a clear vivd image. The television is very thin giving it a minimized profile but providing a maximum experience. The television is surprisingly very heavy and does require a couple people to be able to lift into place. This television has an a7 gen 3 processor 4k providing you with a smoother picture that has no lag whatsoever. I love how the Dolby Vision IQ automatically adjusts picture settings depending on ambient lighting and the different content genres. No soundbar is required with this television becuase of the Dolby Atmos technology. This technology puts you in the middle of the action with multi-dimensional surround sound filling a room with cinematic audio. The web OS on this television is your gateway to endless entertainment. You can stream content from starz, redbox, apple tv, Disney+, Prime, LG channels, and Netflix to name a few. With just a touch of a button from my remote I can search movies and shows using voice technology. LG Channels offers free access to over 180 IP streaming channels featuring movies, shows, news, and sports to name a few. We hooked up our playstation 4 to this tv giving us a new experience in gaming. The AI-powered picture quality makes it feel like your inside the game, very realistic. There is no lag when gaming giving you an experience that is unlike no other. Sports mode is amazing. Its like you are sitting in the stadium without having to pay the ticket charge. I have had several family members over since this television was delivered and all of them want to buy one. I have nothing but great things to say about this television and I would strongly recommend it to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
