FANTASTIC
This is by far the LARGEST TV we have EVER had. The TV is MUCH better than expected and gives us a great experience. We had a 55" that we thought was dig but it's dwarfed by this one. The picture is VASTLY better than ANYTHING we has seen before. We are exceedingly pleased with this TV. Keep in mind that it VERY MUCH a two person job to handle it and get it mounted on a wall (which I most strongly recommend you do. I suggest you photo the back and side panels so you can tell where what goes where. 4 HDMI ports is a great feature.

Good TV with neat features
I have an honest mixed review. Pros...86'' size, home button feature, Netflix and Prime Video shortcut buttons, remote cursor feature, picture adjustment capabilities, Bluetooth connection, Alexa comparable, mounting capable. Cons...difficult to sync TV Alexa to in-home Alexa, Alexa has very limited commands, had to return my first LG tv due to dead pixels

    Good looking budget UHD TV
I've been using this TV since April. I previously had a 60" LG 3D TV (moved to the bedroom), and the size difference is a more considerable that I thought it would be. I had to add some tilt to it to make it more visible from the couch since I have it mounted a little higher than most. For being an IPS panel, it looks really good. It doesn't blow you away like an OLED or NANO would, but for around $1000, it gets the job done. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark looks like a modern day digital movie in 4K, and the TV shows lots of detail in the movie. I probably should have read the instructions for the initial assembly of my Mounting Dream TV mount. I leaned the TV up against the couch and put the rails on while it was vertical, but I think I saw some videos where LG says to lay it on it's face to put the mounts on, at least for the base they provide, which I did not use. Definitely a 2 man job, it's super heavy, and we ended up using our winter gloves to lift it because it seemed very slippery with bare hands. The only thing i would have knocked it down for was the eARC and my Apple TV 4K, but I don't think it's the TV's fault so i didn't take a star off for it. eARC works fine to my Denon AVR for internal TV apps, but as soon as i hook my Apple TV 4K into either the AVR or the TV, eARC doesn't work for the TV at all. It used to, but now it doesn't. It's not a big deal because I don't use the TV apps at all, but lip sync when connecting the Apple TV to the Denon and then to the TV can be off between apps. Like I can get it pretty good for iTunes, but maybe VUDU doesn't sync up then. When i connected it directly to the TV and used eARC previously, lip sync was awesome even on different apps. I only switched it back because the LG would switch me to internal speakers for some reason and any time i switched from my Dish to Apple TV, i'd have to make sure i turned eARC as the sound option. I just tried switching back to plugging the Apple TV direct to the TV and using eARC again, and as long as the Apple TV is connected to ANYTHING in the chain, eARC just doesn't work. I assume that means it's the Apple TV or the cable i use with the Apple TV. I have read posts about LG TVs and eARC issues, too, so it's hard to say which component is the issue. Definitely a good buy overall. If you want super deep blacks and all that, stick to OLED or NANO from LG, otherwise, this one gets the job done. It's one of the few that does Dolby Vision at a low price point, although with an IPS panel, i'm not sure how well it handles the 12-bit color depth, but at least I feel like it's better when i see it switch to Dolby Vision.

    we love this model, x2!
love this model !!! My wife and I purchased two of these 75UN8570PUCs on Thanksgiving 2020 and they arrived in early December. WE LOVE THEM! The picture is fantastic. They are intuitive and easy to operate. The internal speaker sounds just fine to us for watching the news and most DIY programming. We bought a matching LG Blu-ray player for one of them in our finished room over garage which we use as a home theater, along with a 2014 Onkyo TX-NR626 7.2 receiver and new Monoprice Caliber in-wall speakers. (One day we'll upgrade to a 5.2.2 ATMOS system). We mounted the other TV above our family room fireplace. My two wishes: 1. I wish LG would publish the Bluetooth CODEC(s) for all their TVs. Why? Because I was initially keen to sync Bluetooth headphones directly with the TVs. There is no latency with my JLAB JBuds when in Movie Mode, but I cannot find any manufacturer with the identical Movie Mode. I ordered Monoprice over-ear headphones with aptX, but they are not compatible so I returned them. While we can order a Bluetooth transmitter, we've become less interested in doing so since realizing our home theater is isolated enough from the rest of the house that we really don't need headphones for isolation purposes. 2. I wish LG's eARC audio return were compatible with my 2014 Onkyo TX-NR626 receiver HDMI output. It isn't. Instead, I must use the optical output from the TV to the receiver. This works fine, however, the incompatibility issue makes for only one effective audio output from the TV, so even if I wanted to connect a Bluetooth transmitter to the TV, I can't, unless I were to find some type of optical output splitter. The other solution for me would be to run the headphones out of the receiver. But some folks might not have a receiver ... I imagine many people aren't all that keen to hook up headphones and a full-up surround sound audio system. So I bet it is likely most people don't care about my two wishes. For those who do, I hope this commentary helps in your shopping process. The only other consideration regarding the TVs is simply that if you want pure black during the credits of your movies, you'll likely need to upgrade to OLED, for A LOT MORE $$. We have no problem overlooking this issue. We rarely watch all the credits anyway, save for really good movies. We're not into gaming whatsoever, so we've got nothing to share with those who are. In conclusion, we are really happy with these TVs.

WebOS is King - Top Marks on Everything Else
Upgrade from a 70-inch LG SmartTV. I have been calibrating settings since I bought it 2 weeks ago...suffice it to say, this TV delivers color accuracy, brightness, and contrast very well; the a7 processor makes sure of that. WebOS delivers once more on design language and speed. It is very enjoyable navigating settings or sifting through the apps. I really enjoy that fact that you can now say something like "dim the screen" onto the top notch Magic Remote and the TV follows through instantly with said command. Sound quality is great, specially with movies. Very happy with this product.

    AMAZING !!
This was the very best investment I could have made when it comes to my family entertainment. Picture is absolutely beautiful, movies and gaming both are awesome. And the web OS is great to work with. I would like to thank the LG Corp, for doing a great job with such a big screen non projection TV. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone wanting to go bigger than 65". I am a proud owner of the 86" LG .. Check it out for yourself to see what I am talking about.. Ron Queens N.Y

You everything and more, awesome buy!
I've been looking at large TV'S for about 6 months and LG made the decision to buy very early because of its size and value. I do not regret this purchase I'm very excited to enjoy this TV for years to come.
