Great little TV for the price. Fabulous picture!
Just moved. New apartment has a space I created a small office in with big glass windows showing a picturesque view of NYC. Ran a cable line into the room and purchased this little LG TV. Perfect. It sits on a window sill ten feet from my desk chair. I shopped every brand, every model of smaller fat screen TV. This had the most bang for the buck and the price was extra reasonable at Amazon. With free prime delivery, I was in business in no time. Easy install. And the picture is clear, clean and bright. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Would be better if the screen worked properly
The lower left corner of the screen is very dim, as if the LEDs are not getting fully lit. As soon as I get the packing material together I'm sending it back for service. If it comes back working right, I'll update my review.

this is a simple tv with a cable hookup and HDMI, exactly what I needed for my security camera system. Now I don't have to flick my television channel while watching tv to see security camera because it's always on using this tv.

    Love It !
Our old picture tube television we used in the kitchen just wasn't cutting it anymore; cropped picture format, incompatibility with the new digital transmission signals, and poor picture quality compared to improved HD pixel displays available today. Our new LG 24LJ4540-WU has a far superior picture quality, compatibility with the digital HD satellite feeds, weighs much less than the old 24 1/2 lbs.and fits perfectly on it's pedestal stand on the countertop beneath the kitchen cabinets. We cook at home a lot so it's the ideal television for our kitchen viewing! We own another LG television, washer and dryer, and refrigerator; trouble free and very happy with all of them!

An oldie, but goodie. No streaming allowed.
Haven't unboxed it yet. Wanted it as a spare to replace a SMART TV. Hard to find a regular LED tv now, figure they will disappear. I don't like my smart one., too sensitive and touchy, even turning on. and won't be using all the streaming internet options.

The picture and color is very good quality. The sound is terrible, you have to turn it all the way up and them you have a humming sound.

    Acceptable, for the price
SPEAKERS/SOUND: there are a number of at least semi-helpful adjustments, though with most all sound adjustment combinations, voices still sound, to some degree, like the person is speaking inside a cardboard box or a bucket. Bass frequencies are sorely lacking. I doubt you'd want to listen to concert programming on it. Volume is sufficient for our sometimes noisy kitchen. We can hear the TV satisfactorily with the dishwasher running. PICTURE: again a lot of adjustments, with which I am still experimenting, trying to get skin rendition looking natural. Seems that achieving satisfactory contrast and brightness results in losing facial detail. I'm surprised that the 720p definition on its 24" screen is so noticeably lower looking than 720p on the 19" TV that this LG replaces. Since we do most of our TV watching in our kitchen, I would happily paid 3-4 times the price to get a 24" TV with UHD, HDR, on a pedestal

The good, the bad and the ugly
The good- I bought this TV based on the LG reputation for quality products. It has a great picture and fit perfectly in the space I had for it. The bad- The volume has to be all the way up to hear it, not good for a brand new tv. There are no control buttons on the tv, you have to rely on the remote only. if you drop it and it breaks or fails with old age, you are out of luck. The ugly- my tv failed after 6 months even though it is still under new product warranty getting a good FEDEX shipping code to return has been a miserable experience

    Love it!
My daughter gave me my new LG 22 for Christmas to replace an old 13” I had. I love this TV. It has a super clear picture and the volume is great. 100% thrilled! I even built a platform for under it to house the remote and cable box.

    One Problem
I am using this as a TV connected to a cable box. The problem is that every time I turn on the TV a dialog box pops up asking if the TV is connected to a PC. No matter how I respond even checking the box "Don't ask again." the dialog box pops every time the TV is turned on. It goes away after a minute but is is very annoying.
