This phone rocks
I've had this phone for like nine months now and so great, I play PUBG mobile with it and it's good it does get a little warm every now and then.
But it's a super tough phone I've only used a medium protective case on it like maybe 70% of the time the only thing bad that's happened is a scuff on the corner of the frame the glass is in perfect condition!
The camera is AI based the close up/wide angle shots are very nice and clean, but once you start creeping past like 3.2x (out of 8x) zoom the quality gets a little fuzzy. Below are some photos I've captured with this phone.
All in all I truly love this phone and there's no need for me to upgrade at this time except just to follow the crowd ;P

Facebook embeded and cannot delete the app!
If you are concerned with privacy, do NOT get this phone. It includes Facebook and several Facebook services that you cannot delete from your device, so it will have access to what you do and the behavior of your apps as you use them. You can disable but that is only an illusion, I tested on a access point on a custom firewall with the only device attached and there were still Facebook transactions coming through from the device. Besides that, the device is a beautiful device, glass on front and back...get a good case for it, it is fast ans smooth. And I didn't mention, it has a MicroSD slot, so in addition of the whopping space it already comes with it supports micro SD cards up to I believe a terabyte or two. Once LG provides a patch where you can uninstall Facebook then I'll upgrade the rating. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/05/2021ThinQ was off to a good start.. BUTLG decided to exit the mobile phone business not too long after I purchased the phone. I had the Unlocked U.S. version which meant LG would be able to provide more prompt updates and security patches. Unfortunately didn't happen. My hope is that LG works with open source community to keep this great phone going.mythinq20

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/27/2021A little disappointedI have had this cell phone for two years. I was expecting more of this phone (I have had more cell phones of this brand), I could not use many of its publicized features, either because the phone did not allow me to get there or I was unable to find how they work. I really feel sad when LG announced that they are going out of the Cell phone business, because I was expecting they will launch a better phone than the G8 ThinkQ and redeem themselves and their customers.Peto2

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/06/2019Great Phone But Some IssuesI love the features and performance of my LG G8 Thinq...for the most part. I wish it had a removable/replaceable battery and I'm often experiencing significant lag (and sometimes home app failure) when pressing the "home" key to return to the home screen from using apps.Murphman

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/27/2019Do not follow the masses!I recently bought the fully unlocked LMG820QM7 version of the LG G8 ThinQ. Prior to purchase I scoured the internet for every review I could find, both video and print, as I wanted to make sure my $800+ was well spent. After spending countless hours searching and reviewing, I noticed a theme emerge, most sites were nitpicking about things that were not big issues to most of us in the real world, stopping just short of saying not to buy this phone. To give an example, most reviews complained that the pictures were "too" vivid and seemed fake. However, most of us in the real world are not professional photographers and want our picture colors to "pop". If I had listened to all the petty complaints I would not have bought this phone and would have been severely wrong. This is really an excellent phone and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The only issues I have with the phone are minor, petty, issues that have more to do with adapting to a new phone than the actual phone itself. I recommend that you buy this phone, I honestly believe you will be happy with it.cwshore
