Come as expected
First, this does not come with a stylus. And it comes with a regular port charge, not USB-C. Second, the screen brightness is not as high as some other Laptop (maybe about 70-80% of other). You should consider this if you use the laptop outside a lot, but totally fine with inside. Third, the headphone port is a little tight, maybe because it's new. And Finally, there was 1 video reviewing this laptop, it shows that the right-side area to the touch pad deforms when being pressed. It's true, but it does not matter that must. As you place your palm on it and typing, it looks just normal. In sum, it comes as I expected. I did not just expect the headphone jack is that hard to insert and remove. I hope you find this helpful.

Good machine, trash OS
I want to start this review by saying I've always sworn by Microsoft. But today, I was let down to the point of no return. I got this laptop after a few days of research, deciding that this was by far the best of the best by the value. Ordered it and waited no more than a day. I opened the box before I even had a chance to set it down on the table. I was so excited. The Cortana set up was really easy and intuitive. The hardware, the finish, the materials, and the quality was more than I expected. However, as soon as I got past the initial set up and got to Windows, I spent over 3 hours downloading "critical updates". That includes the download and 4 times the computer had to restart to initiate the installation of the software updates. Fine, I never had a computer that didn't need a few updates out of the box. But after finally installing everything, and trying to get Google Chrome installed, it turned out that Microsoft S won't let you download one of the most secure browsers ever invented because it didn't match THEIR security system. I started to look at the Microsoft store, and everything in there was from the Paleolithic era. I couldn't even download HBO because it's only available in Xbox? A machine this sophisticated and it isn't compatible with the latest streaming app? Give me a break. After a few more hours of looking for things I use regularly and discovering that well over half of them were incompatible, I tried connecting my phone. Just warning you that if you don't have a Microsoft phone, you have to download one more app and give it access to everything and it STILL wouldn't work. I decided to switch off the "secure" mode. Which turns out you CAN'T return to for some reason. As SOON as I clicked Enter to switch back, the computer turned into a figurative ball of slime. Frozen honey moved faster than the processor. And guess what? After 3 hours after installing all updates.... TADAAAA MORE UPDATES! I decided I wanted to start completely over, so I cleaned the computer following Microsoft's own reset instructions. And to add the cherry bomb to the proverbial dung pile THE COMPUTER WOULDN'T TURN BACK ON. I'm COMPLETELY DONE using Microsoft, and defending it against Apple and Google. I can't believe I'm returning an item less than 24 hours after opening it. If you want a lenovo, do NOT get Microsoft anymore unless you're stuck in Wolf of Wallstreet times.

Lost in the shuffling of things in the software.
I liked the hardware. But being a long time windows user I am having trouble navigating the user interface. It leaves me baffled about how to get to my programs and stuff I want to find. I still haven't found the solitaire games.:-( The sad (but good.) part is my teenagers have all grown up and are gone and I don't have anyone to explain stuff to me anymore. I haven't been able to get very far with exploring and I am getting discouraged about the whole purchase. Hoping to get some help turning things around. Hasn't happened yet though.

Sons are over the moon!! Ages 9
I purchased this laptop for my sons two months ago. They had a very old sony vaio laptop they used for roblox. They only use laptop mode. Mom and Dad get to use tablet mode. Its huge and very nice! We haven't encountered any problems with updates or touchscreen. We took S mode off and did not notice any difference in speed as it stated. They downloaded steam and play garrys mod together. They do zoom videos with their friends/family with decent quality. I love the camera blocker. This should be on every laptop/aio! We use a gaming mouse and have no problems with ports or battery issues. One drawback is the speaker. They aren't loud. When we first had the laptop there was static with sound. It happened quite often. We have had two updates and the issue has been fixed with the first update. We purchased this laptop on sale for $369each. Very pleased with our first lenovo laptop.

    Love it!
I love this laptop! It is so practical, everything you need in one device, and it is light weight. Perfect for work and school. Also, I love the size because it is not too big nor too small; however it is hard to find a good fitting cover. Also, I would recommend getting the pen for the ipad mode.

Good for the money, compact and look nice
After using it for 1 week, I have to say that this laptop's performance is good for its price. The graphics for playing game is better than expected. I love the pre install lenovo vantage that helps me in managing my laptop's healrh and performance. It is very lightweight and compact. Switching to tablet is one of the cool feature that I like. However, I wish it has one more USB port and a ethernet port for more plug in. Overall, it's worth it.

    Efficient and excellent product!
This is my first very own computer (that I don't have to share). I am quite pleased with it. It starts up quickly, has a sleek design that makes this computer easy to take along, and processes fast. The battery life is great. The price point is great as well. I love the backlit keyboard. I was debating on this one or the Surface Pro and I am happy with my choice!

The perfect budged laptop but no pen Sadge.
It's a power machine for it's size it's faster than my i7 8th gen H series laptop in short tasks while having 4 time the battery life. It is just amazing how good the Ryzen U series processors are. The form factor doesn't feel cheap and the touch screen is on point although I was expecting a pen in the box but there was none, that wasn't clear at the moment not my purchase.

Fastest CPU in this price range. AMD 4300u, 7 nm
It's a fastest CPU in this price range. AMD 4300u, 7 nm latest technology is wonderful and it can do a lot of things. It came with Win10 S mode but I switched out to the regular Win10 Home for my use. That when AMD CPU really shines! Fast turn on and off too which it surprises me compare to my old laptop that struggles so bad with windows 10. I bought a stylus (Lenovo Active Pen1 - $29 : compatible with this Flex5 ) Screen is good and accurate on Krita and Autodesk Sketchbook software. The Flipable allows me to adjust to suit my drawing in any positions. Battery lasted longer than 10 hours and could be more. The harddrive capacity and memory Ram aren't large enough but you can buy a higher spec for double or triple of this price. I'm very happy with this. Thanks Lenovo for this affordable beast comparison to other brands.
