Not sturdy enough for a three year old to drive.
This is not sturdy enough to be advertised as a remote control car for 3 year olds. I think it is a given that a 3 year old will run it into the wall until they learn how to drive it. The bumper in the front is part of the top of the car, not the under frame, thus when the bumper hit the wall, it broke the screws that attached the two parts of the car together. That was within the first hour of play. So now, a large, thick rubber band holds the frame and the upper body of the car together. This is nothing like the Fisher Price First Remote Control car from years ago. That one was owned and played with by a 3 year old 25 years ago and still works. If people want to say it was unusual roughness, I am going to say, it is a remote control car sold for three year olds. It should be sturdier. I would not recommend this toy.

    Awful, did not work. This was a Christmas gift for my grandson and I am extremely disappointed. Front wheels moved a bit but controller didn't work at all. Emailed company for replacement and they required too much info so they are not good on backing their product. Will not buy again and definitely do not reccomend!!!!

    Wonderful toys for 3 year old granddaughter
    My 3 year old granddauter loves her birthday gifts! I got her both car and truck so her Mom and Dad, grandparents and friends could play with her. Sturdy, long battery life. She figured out controls quickly. I looked at a lot of remote control vehicles. These were perfect for her age. And for the grownups, too!

    Great for my 3 year old grandaughter--and her Dad!
    I got both the red car and blue truck for my 3 year old granddaughter's 3rd birthday. As I suspected, she loves them. AND her Dad gets to race with her! Controls take some practice, but she figured them out quickly. So did her Dad! It was so much fun watching them them play together. Grandma also tried them out! Battery life is long. I showed her how to turn the vehicles off when not in use. And on again to play. Super cool toys for inside and outside use. Cute and sturdy.

    Not toddler tough
    It worked well in the begining. My son bent up the antena and it still worked. But the car came apart after only a couple of tumbles. I will say my son was pretty rough with it. I tried gluing the car cover back on but it popped off after one or two crashes. I had it taped but it fell off the couch this morning and the cover popped off again. If you child is easy going with their toys I feel like this would be a great first remote car. Otherwise, I'd suggest looking for something a little sturdier.

    Perfect for a Toddler.s first Rc car and Truck. Size is almost the size of a water bottle and control remote is hard plastic and can take a beating. My nephew is 2 and loves it. Take 2 AAA for remote not included. I am very happy with my purchase. I did purchase the 2 year warrenty thru Walmart.con for $2.00 because some reviews stated it was a cheep remote control. I disagree and exceeds expectation
