Really cute and cuddly
My 2 year old loves this little cutie, I have to say I really like this first because of that fact you don't have to have the music on to have the light. You can play both or just one. Also the eyes are sewn in not buttons or anything that can be pulled off.

Great when it works but they don't last
This is a toy that all of my kids love. The lights are fun to have in bed. It's nice that it turns off by itself after a while. However, they break easily, some are faulty from the start, and don't work right all of the time. They don't last much more than a month or two. I'm so sick of returning these and getting new ones. It's sad because my kids love them but I'm not playing the return game anymore. The next time they break it's over.

    doesn't come with wash instructions
    most toys you get come with washing instructions but this one does not. I got the unicorn for my daughter and it's now her favorite toy but I'm stumped on how to wash it without ruining it. she recently covered it in feces and even though I got all I can see off of it it still stinks. if it was a normal stuffed animal I'd throw it in the washer but I can't do that with this one because of the battery pack and wires. I fear I will be throwing this one away and need to buy a new one. it's really upsetting that it wasn't made to withstand the destruction children cause even though it is made for children.

    My Daughter's New Best Friend!
    My four year old daughter loves loves LOVES her Lullabrites unicorn. I took him out of the packaging (it's zip tied in, so you will need a knife or scissors) and gently tucked him into bed with her one night because I knew that she would never get to sleep if I gave it to her before bedtime. When she woke up, she was instantly smitten. For about the first five minutes straight we heard nothing but, "I love the baby unicorn. He's sooooo cute" over and over and over. To be honest, I might have bypassed this toy if I saw it in a store because our kids already have a lot of stuffed toys. The majority of them keep our kids' attention for about two days, but it's been two weeks, and our daughter still carries this little unicorn around with her everywhere. She loves to sing along with the songs it plays, and it has quickly become one of her new favorite "friends". Normally, I might also avoid buying stuffed animals that are white. The white does make the colored lights look nice and bright, but I'm still wary of buying electronic toys that can't easily be washed. The softness of this toy is wonderful, though. Super cuddly! The Lulabrites Unicorn plays a variety of stylized songs, including, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and, "Hush Little Baby". It also has a setting that turns on just the lights without any music. At first, I thought this toy might be a little baby-ish for my six year old and even a bit so for my four year old because I've seen so many stuffed toys with songs and lights for infants. Now that we have it, I feel confident that the ideal age group for the Lullabrites is about 3-5, though I think we're going to have to get our six year old one too now. There are a couple of reasons why I think this toy is more appropriate for preschoolers than infants or young toddlers: 1) The sound is a tad bit too loud for babies and 2) the button to activate the toy is very small. Most one and two year olds would not have the fine motor coordination to be able to find and push the tiny "on" button, which is sewn into the leg of the unicorn. It took my four year old a few minutes to figure out how to turn it on. Once she finds it, she has no problem activating it now. I have to say, I like this toy much more than I expected, and my daughter absolutely loves it, which is what really makes it especially worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this toy for any aspiring young prince or princess.

    I have never heard of Lullabrites and was given the opportunity to review one in exchange for my honest review. My little one was overjoyed to see this delivered and was ready to put it to the test. Stuffed animals in general are a top favorite kind of toy in our house so we're experienced with quality and cuddliness. It was easy to figure out, you press the hand to start the lights and if you want to switch to a song or turn off, you click the hand until you get the desired option. Lullabrites play 3 lullabies including hush little baby, twinkle twinkle little star, and brahms lullaby. They play softy, not too loud and the lights slowly change between colors. The animal gives off just enough light to give your little one some comfort at bedtime. Lullabrites are still just as soft a regular stuffed animal even with all the lights and sounds. This has become a must have at bedtime and I highly suggest this new friend if your little one needs that extra comfort.

    Soft and great to travel with
    It's a sweet plush toy. It is very soft and the button to control the lights and music is on its arm. My child had a hard time finding the button once I took the tag off, so I had to show her a few times, but after that she figured it out. I like that you can use the button to cycle through music and lights, just lights, or turn it off so you don't have to wait for it to finish playing or lighting up for it to turn itself off. It is a good size for traveling with, so it makes a nice travel buddy for trips to visit family and can help create a sense of normalcy in the bedtime routine while away from home.

    Cute plush with a couple downsides
    The Lullabrites Panda is easy to open/remove from box so kids can start playing quickly. Comes with batteries that so far have been holding up well with daily play. Positive attributes in my book are the fact that this plush does not have button eyes/nose. No choking risks for young kids. The plush is cute. It is easily sat up by a child and will stay sitting up on a flat surface. The music is clear and not distorted, slightly loud but not overly so. Just something to consider if you have a sensory sensitive child when it comes to their hearing. The lights are neat and in the dark impressive for being in a plush toy. However there are a couple of negative things that are kind of big to me personally. I have a rule about plush toys. They have to pass my pinch test meaning when I pinch and pull their fur nothing comes out. That just assures me the plush won't shed or be a hazard to a younger child who is likely to put it in his/her mouth. While it isn't the worst fail of my pinch test I've ever seen it does not pass. A small amount of fur will come out if pulled on. Another negative for it in my book is that this toy is surface cleanable only. So you will never be able to wash this toy which is an unfortunate thing if it just so happens to be your child's comfort plush and they possibly get sick on it or some other accident. I understand why it isn't washable (wires running through it for the lights/push button in hand to activate) but for me personally that combined with the shedding is why I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. The box might have said all ages but I wouldn't give this to a child younger than three. That being said my three year old daughter does really like "Pandy" and he's earned a regular spot in her bed beside her. She enjoys his music and especially his lights. He's not leaving fur trails and she doesn't put toys in her mouth anymore so I can overlook my issues with him for the happiness he brings her. I just wish that his fur was better constructed and he had been created in a washable way. I would like to add that I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

    SO.SOFT.
    The first thing I appreciated about this toy was that it was easy to get out of the box. I didn't need a screwdriver or any heavy duty equipment. I think there was one twisted wire keeping it attached. The second thing I noticed was that this is one of the softest things I have ever felt in my life. I considered keeping it for myself but GRACIOUSLY gave it to my four-year-old son, who fell in love with it immediately. He named it "Lamby" like the character on Doc McStuffins. It was easy for him to start it up because you don't have to keep feeling around for the button to push - it's easy to push the paw (hoof?) and it starts playing lullabies, but very slowly, which is great as it is a bedtime toy. It also cycles through different lights. If you push the button again, the lullabies stop and the lights continue, and if you push it a third time, everything turns off and it's just a really comfy, snuggly toy. Absolutely love this! I posted a picture, and yes, that is my son with cat ears and Christmas pajamas on. He's got a style all his own.

    Cute and cuddly
    I picked the panda one for my 4-yr old because she doesn't have a panda plushy yet. At first I couldn't find the button to press because the sticker was a bit far from the spot. After showing my daughter how to operate it, she couldn't stop pressing the button. She said it's soft and she likes the songs and lights. She sleeps with it and brings it with her wherever she goes. She just absolutely loves her new plushy.

    Cute Lullabrite Turtle
    The Lullabrite turtle is super cute! It is soft for little ones to cuddle with. The music is nice and soothing, not too loud. The lights are colorful and they light up a dark room with a warm glow. You can squeeze the hand once for lights and music, or twice for lights only. My 6 month old nephew loves this turtle, but my 4 year old does as well, so it could be for a child of any age. I think it would make a wonderful baby shower, birthday or holiday gift for a young child.
