Great Way To Darken A Room
These drapes are a fantastic way to darken a room. Easy to install a easy to maintain as well. Keeps daylighight out if so desired. Not that heavy, cumbersome fabric of days of old. Updated and terrific. These can be used coupled for large windows or single panel if for a small(er) single window. Whatever your interior, these will make the room pop.

    Darkens and cools the room well.
    The panels are made of a very nice and sturdy material. They should last a long time even with the sun shining on them everyday. They are washable but I don't think that would happen very often. Just an occasional brushing should work. The panels were put up over a door with a glass panel in my bedroom. Every morning the sun shining on my bed woke me up. In the summer it got real hot and unbearable. After putting the panels up it blocked the sun completely. The room was also a lot cooler. In the picture there was still light in the room because there is a window across the room. I am planning to purchase another pair for that window. Picture was taken in the afternoon so it does not show how bright it is in the morning. My bed is to the left of the door. I would suggest hanging the rod above the window or area so the light is complete blocked unless you don't mind a little light coming in.

    These curtains do the job! I work 3rd shift and need to block out the light in order to get a decent sleep. These curtains blocked out all of the light. I was able to get sleep without my sleep mask. It helps that they look really good. They are simple but elegant.

    Complete blackout!
    I got these since my boyfriend works nights and sleeps during the day. They definitely do what they say, blackout! Our bedroom gets the most sun in all the rooms we have. Not only is it bright but also extremely hot in the summer. These curtains keep out the sun and the heat! I highly recommend blackout curtains!

    Amazing Outcome
    I received the mainstay blackout curtains they are beautiful very well made and high quality so we put these up and we are still amazed at the outcome. When we woke up in the morning we actually thought it might be a rainy day out or that it was too early to get up so we thought the curtains definitely did not work but yet we felt very rest it. So we got on a bed and go into the living Room and it is a beautiful day out. My husband and I just stared at each other in amazement and now we are getting a pair for each of the children's Room we really are truly impressed with the difference this made in our sleep stress and all around day. If you have never tried these give them a chance because you are going to be amazed they go over the window exactly to the point where you need them to go the designers of this curtain truly did some investigating and came up with a product that is impressive. We love these and any time that I can wake up and not know what the day is like outside yet is a perfect day for me because the light affects my rest and I need as a much as I can get. Thank you mainstay for developing an excellent product .

    The Mainstays 100% Blackout Single Panel Window curtain really works. It doesn't let in any light, even at the sunniest part of the day. Each panel is individually sold, so you would need two. Fit the window perfectly. The fabric seems very well made. No loose strings. I would definitely recommend to others. I'm really happy with this product.

    Great Blackout Curtains!
    Mainstays 100% Blackout Single Panel Window Curtain is the best blackout curtain I have ever had. I love blackout curtains to help keep my home cooler and also keep the sunlight out of the bedrooms when we are sleeping. Some other blackout curtains I have had in the past didn't block out 100% of the light. This Mainstays blackout curtain truly blocks out 100% of the light out. I love the size of this panel. It is 50 inches x 84 inches. I received the Blue Cove color which is a deep navy blue. The color is dark and rich and looks great. I hung 2 panels over a large picture window in my living room and I noticed a different right away. It helped cool the room down right away. I couldn't be happier. The panels were very easy to put up. They have a rod pocket with back tabs and my curtain rod easily slid through the rod pocket. The fabric is 100% polyester and is a good thickness and weight. They are great quality and seem very well made.

    100 % Blackout Panel
    Mainstays is a beautiful navy panel that is 50"w x 84"L made of 100% polyester. Panels are made for rods up to 1.5 " in diameter. Panel is rod pocket with back tabs. These panels are energy efficient and block 100% of the light, which will keep your rooms much cooler especially in this heatwave we are having. The texture feels very nice and I love the navy blue color. Mainstay panels are also machine washable. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

    Wonderful Blackout Panel
    I live in Florida and needless to say, it gets hot and the sun is bright. I like sleeping in complete darkness and these panels work wonderfully! I've also noticed that it gets cooler quicker in my room as well. It fits perfectly and sits on the floor just right! I also love the navy color because it matches my comforter! Highly recommend!

    They will block out the light in any room
    Mainstays Blackout Energy Efficient Grommet Single Curtain Panel 50x84 I like the simple design of these curtains. It doesn't take anything away from the room. And yet it adds to what you have done in that room. They are a total black out curtain. And they keep the heat of the day outside. These are great for bedrooms with the black out fabric so that the sun of the morning does not shine threw and wake you up. They are made out of imported 100% polyester, which makes them easy to wash in the washing machine and are wrinkle free when you hang them up straight out of the washer. I think a hot dryer would hurt the backing fabric. But I did find that if you put them in the dryer for a very few minutes before hanging them up for the first time, it causes the fold marks when New are removed with ease. They will take up to 1 1/2 inch wide curtain rod. They are easy to hang on the rods with their Rod pocket with back tabs I choose the Navy color which is a softer blue, not a dark blue color. These come 1 panel to a package so I would say get at least two packages per a regular window size. as you can see from the bright sun outside the only light that comes threw is where it is open
