Perfect for our APARTMENT
This is perfect for our apartment..we have the white blinds that annoy me so I went ahead and put under since our blinds were breaking off ...now we have the double coverage ..looks nice from outside too

Just keep in mind that when putting this rod to your desired length, you must go a little under that length because as you turn the rod to tighten, the rod lengthens as you tighten it. If you follow this step, you shouldn't have any problems at all.

    Very nice quality and economical
    I like tension rods. They are easy and my windows have a casement so it is easy to use them. This rod did come with a hook for heavier drapes, but these curtains are light weight. I have floor length curtains that my cats were having difficulty with so I used this rod to go thru the bottom hem of the curtain and fit it half way up the window so it has a pouty look at the bottom. I like how it's holding and is easy to tighten for. snug fit.

    Easy to set up. STURDY!
    Needed the tension rod to hang a shower curtain. Its sturdy enough, has held good for ab a month now no problem! (With 3 kids), it was easy to set up. Will likely order a second one for another area I need a tension rod on!

    perfect fit, style, size and awesome decor look!!
    love this tension rod......it not only is just the right perfect size ....it locks into place well and you never have to worry about it getting loose or falling ....I had my share of that in my years ...lol......but again....it hold the shower curtain and my "double shower liner"....just perfect....I think this is a must have in any bathroom.....and again....the color accent of the rod....looks very nice ...matching ally bathroom decor to the very T.....SO AGAIN....THIS IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.....AND A MUST HAVE IN ANY AND ALL BATHROOMS IF YOU ASK ME !!

    Amazing curtain rods, 123 and they are up, I used to buy the old fashion curtain rods that you had to drill holes, with these I did three large windows and the sliding door in 15 minutes, love the modern white Sorry photos are upside down?????

    I love these rods so much my windows are 5'7" wide and these rods are easier to handle by yourself because all you have to do is pull to your desired length and twist to tighten. I hung them myself and i dont like heights so they are a little crooked lol but HEY they are up!

    Versatile tension rod
    This tension rod was super easy to use and could be useful in so many ways. It could definitely be used to hang curtains, but I plan to use it to hang extra kitchen tools from. The size range option gives you lots of leeway! Definitely be careful, though. Ours has a tiny scuff from being banged up against something during installation.

    Not your common curtain rod
    The Mainstays 48” - 84” Adjustable Tension Curtain Rod in a Nickel finish is a nice looking rod. But you will have to be sure to carefully measure your window before selecting the size you’d want to use it for. The window I planned to use it with was not wide enough for it to fit into. So next I tried to use it in a entrance opening. This opening is a little wider than a normal opening for a door. And again this rod did not fit. This is the reason I say please measure the INSIDE of the place you plan to use it. Because it is made to expand & fit on the inside of your window frame. Since this rod can be expanded to at least 84”, it came with a support hook (center bracket). This way you can mount it to stabilize the center of the rod if need. The place I found a use for this rod didn’t call for me to use the the support hook (center bracket) that was included. My husband installed it into our hallway near our main entrance into our home. Instead of this rod being used for curtains, it is now used as a place to store my husbands work hats. We just simply added S hooks to the rod, and hung the hats on them. There are many other ways to use a tension rod other than using them for curtains. My adventure led me to be creative in the use of mine, being that it was the wrong size for my intended use of it as a curtain rod. It’s versatile. And it was quick & easy to install.
