Feels sturdy. Instructions were mediocre, but I got it put together in less than an hour with two kids running around me. The shelves are a bit smaller than I'd pictured, but that's my own fault for not reading the description thoroughly.

    Don't glue dowels after the glue dries!
    Whatever you do don't glue the dowels! I glued them for extra strength with the cheap particle board construction, following the instructions to leave “approximately 3/8”” showing. So I glued and approximated the 3/8” but when I finished assembling it after the glue dried, several dowels pushed through the other board's surface. Probably would have been fine if I didn't glue them where they'd go deeper into the hole when pieces were assembled. Instructions should have been more clear about the dowels

    This desk was easy to put together. I love the look and with a few decorations and bins it will look like a high quality item. Although, the opening for the chair isn't very spacious so, I would be careful when selecting a chair.

    fastener disaster
    i was really excited to put this together. i started and then realized the package didnt contain near enough fasteners to put this desk together. I'm missing 12 of the number 1 fastener. I'm extremely disappointed.

    Desk arrived and 2 of the boards are cracked right in the middle. Walmart wants me to return it. I cannot lift this box and I have no help. Don't waste your money.

    cube storage not standard!
    i was really excited about this. it arrives, i put it together... the cube spaces tho are NOT standard size! they don't fit most cube storage boxes! they are 9x9 not 11x11! I'm extremely disappointed! the cube storage box in the picture was bought AT Walmart!

    Broken top
    when we got this out of the box it had a crack in it across the top. The package said do not return to store. To much of a hasel to return. I think I should get a partial refund.

    Delivery late and problem with item
    Everything was going fine but when I got to slap F the holes on the particle board was not deep enough and or visible to place the pegs in.

    Desk is really worth it !
    I purchased this desk and it was set to come 2 days after but it came 2 days before,desk was really nice it took me 2hours to set it up because I had to rescrew it but the desk is wonderful

    I am really impressed with this desk. It was easy to assemble and very sturdy and durable and it's perfect size for my apartment. I purchased some storage bins from Amazon for the open cubes.
