I like mine.
I like the size. It fits great on end table and I adjust amount of humidity. I don't mind refilling daily, it's light weight and easy. Large humidifier tanks are too difficult for me fill. I don't like the ultrasonic humidifier. They are hard to clean, fill and don't last.

MOLD! Do not get
Do not get this item unless you want mold in your house. I used this for two weeks and I got black mold in the filter. This is dangerous and they should have some sort of way to toe event this otherwise you would have to replace your filter every two weeks which would get to be very expensive.

    Base and humidifier housing don't snap together.
    I just set up my cool mist humidifier. It is running great. I'm having a huge issue with the humidifier housing snapping into the base. I've pushed on it, turned it upside down to get the pieces to connect. If I bump it, it stops running because the sensors don't connect for the machine to start. Is this supposed to snap together? Or just sit on top? I wish I could show a video. I've attached an image to show as best as I could. I do t want to return it since I have tried several others and this seems to be the best one but if it doesn't snap together, what's the point of using something that could be bumped and fall over.

    I didn't like it because it doesn't work! Purchased this Mainstays white, 1-gallon, cool-mist humidifier why doesn't the fan run is there a reason why?!? If someone knows please let me know☹️

    Easy set up, great way to add moisture to air!
    Living in WI, our winters are very dry. This results in lots of dry skin, cracked lips, nose bleeds etc. we have a whole home humidifier built in to our furnace but it doesn't seem to do much to help. This little compact humidifier works great! Footprint is small, set up was super easy: fill water tank, plug in, turn on! It even has a little tray at the top to add essential oils so that it won't clog up the system. It is not a heated humidifier so there is no worry of the unit overheating. My only complaint would be that it's very sterile and hospital looking rather than something I would want out in the open. Which is ok if you're placing it on a bedroom, etc. fan is also nice and quiet.

    Being in souther louisiana, humidity isn't something we tend to have issues with. But when you're using old gas heaters to warm a room, it dries the air out really bad. This humidifier is the perfect solution. We seem to just need it a couple hours a day to keep the humidity levels up. It's really easy to take the tank off to add water as needed. I havent needed to try the automatic shut off and can use essential oils so I have no opinion on those features.

    Compact and efficient
    This is a compactly designed humidifier that fits well into my space. Very easy to assemble and the humidifier is made of good quality material. The tank is easily accessible and did not leak. It has multiple settings, so this makes it more versatile to use. It has helped with our dry throats and nose bleeds. It is not noisy at all. The indicator lights up to indicate low water levels in the tank. This humidifier is a product in definitely recommend.

    Nice humidifier
    It took me awhile before I was able to use this product. Mine is white and compact compared to other ones. This is my first one and I am very pleased with it. I mostly have it in my daughters room because she has allergies and our cats make it worse. I usually turn it on at night for a few hours only so I havent used the automatic shut off. I fill it up with water every couple days. We dont use it every night so I am not going thru water quick. I do put in a few drops of eucalyptus oil in it but will try other types of oil. My daughter says it does help her breathe at night and its not noisy at all. It fits on her nightstand. I will keep using it especially if a cold comes along. Anything helps.

    So Easy To Use!
    My daughter has to have a humidifier running in her room at night, and our old one has just bit the dust so we were in the market for a new one. Boy, this Mainstays cool must humidifier is like a Cadillac compared to our old humidifier! This thing is awesome! The tank is totally separate, which is very convenient, and has an indicator light that lets you know when it is running low. There are three speed settings, all of which are quiet. I really like the compact and convenient design, it is so easy to tuck away when not in use. Another neat feature i'd the little dispenser for essential oils, built right in to the fan grate. You just pop up the lid, put in a few drops of your favorite essential oil (if you want to), and snap the little lid back on. Soon your whole room is filled with a fragrance of your choice (we use lavender a lot at night). I really like this feature. This unit is good quality and really well designed. I highly recommend it.
