Best Alarm Clock EVER
This alarm clock is so simple. Highly recommend for kids and older folks. My husband hates complicated alarm clocks, he is always so tired, this is the clock for people who do not want to mess around. It's simple. The bottom has a compartment for 2 AAA batteries for power loss so you do not miss your alarm. We love how small it is, 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. Best clock we have EVER owned. Seriously.

This alarm clock has a few nice perks to it. First, it is on the smaller side and doesn't take up much room on a nightstand. It is lightweight. It would fit perfectly in a travel bag if one was traveling. The alarm is loud for a small clock. Perfect for heavy sleepers. Setting the clock is very easy. I did not need to read the instructions. The snooze will go off again in 10 minutes. There were a few things that I did not like about it. With it being lightweight, it does knock over easily. The time on the clock isn't very bright. Which can be a good thing or bad thing, but I have issues seeing in the dark. Upon opening the clock and removing it from the package, there was a plastic piece on the bottom of the clock that was a bit difficult to remove. It twists off, but wasn't easy to remove. I haven't had the power go off yet, so I did not use the battery back-up. All in all, it serves it purpose and this isn't a bad clock.

    Great LED Alarm Clock
    I received this Mainstays Keyboard Alarm Clock from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to try out and review. This is a Great Alarm Clock. It is easy to set the time and alarm. Just hold the time button and press the hour button for adjusting the hour to am or pm. Then hold the time button and adjust the minutes with the minute button. To set the alarm, hold the Alarm button and adjust the hours and minutes to desired time. Watch the PM light to make sure your on am or pm. This Alarm does have a wire plug for power outlet. Remember to install a couple of AAA Batteries for back up power in case the main power goes out. It has a snooze button. A nice big easy to press snooze button for those extra few moments of sleep. I keep my alarm clock across the room so I cant reach the snooze button. I do recommend this Mainstays Alarm Clock for its clear display and its ease of use. Thank you for reading this review.

    The MainStay (MS) Keyboard Alarm Clock runs on electricity with a bright 0.6” LED display. It also has a Snooze button that lasts for about 10 minutes. The alarm has a beeping sound that is loud enough to wake you. There is also a battery backup which requires 2 AAA batteries. The batteries do not power the clock instead they are used as a backup for storing the time and alarm settings if the power is interrupted. When the electricity goes off, the clock's display will not be lit but will re-light after power is restored. I was given the opportunity to review the MS Keyboard Alarm Clock and really like the compact size. The dimensions are approximately 4.25” long and 3.75” deep. The keyboard area in front is just less than .75” high and the back part with the display is approximately 2.25” high. The keyboard buttons from left to right are: Time, Alarm, Hour, Min then the On/Off switch for the Alarm. In front is the larger Snooze button which you should not miss when you are not ready to wake up yet. To set the time: hold down the Time button as you push the Hour then the Min buttons to set the correct Hour and then the correct Minutes. Do the same to set the Alarm time. The am time display will only show the time. But the PM in the top left of display a Red circle will be lit. This MS Keyboard Alarm Clock is a very nice clock to have and is a very nice compact size which will fit on just about any cabinet or shelf. And sometimes it helps to have more than one alarm clock to get us out of bed (preferably a 2nd one across the room so you have to get up to turn it off - LOL)

    Snazzy Little Alarm Clock!
    This Mainstays Keyboard Digital Alarm Clock is wonderful! It is small, lightweight, compact and it can be placed on just about any stand in your house. It has a bright Red LED display and the numbers are large enough that I can see them without my glasses. It is super easy to set your time and your alarm! You just plug it in, set your time and go! No assembly required. There is a little compartment on the bottom of the alarm clock for 2 AAA batteries that you can use for battery backup in case the power goes out. The battery back up will not show your time, it will only store your time and alarm so you don't have to reset it again once the power is restored. I love that feature because we get a lot of storms where we live and the power is constantly going out. It seems like I am always having to reset my alarm clock but now I won't have to do that! The alarm beeping sound is loud enough to wake me up and it has a nice, large, snooze bar that is very easy to hit if I decide to snooze for an additional 15 minutes or so. I really like the smooth black color because the chrome alarm clocks always seem to show fingerprints. This powerful, little clock will go with me when we take trips because it seems to fit perfectly in my suitcase! I think this would be a great gift idea for all of my teenage grandchildren who don't seem to want to get up in the mornings when it is time to get ready for school. I think the alarm is loud enough on this little alarm clock to shake them out of bed easily in the mornings!

    Volume controlled alarm
    My kids wake up early to have enough time do it all in one day. My older daughters use us making breakfast as their alarms, but not my youngest. She sleeps through it all. She asked for an alarm clock. She stopped using her last alarm because it was so loud that it would scare her when it went off. I got her this one. This one has a volume controlled alarm. She doesn't need it very loud and it doesn't scare her. She likes that she doesn't have to reset it every night when the power goes out due to the storms we've been having. She also likes being able to read the time when she wakes up in the middle of the night without getting up to turn on the light. It is nice and small. She was able to set it up on her own. She is 9 years old. Having her own alarm clock gives her a sense of independence and maturity. It gives me a peace of mind knowing she is learning to take responsibility over waking herself up at an early age.

    Great little clock
    This little alarm clock is really nice. It is so easy to set and has a very Loud alarm. Some of the smaller alarm clocks dont have a very loud alarm. This one will definitely wake you up. Simple to set the time and set the alarm. I like the small size too. It doesn't take up much space on my night stand. The numbers are nice and big also. They are red. This clock also has a back up system. It takes batteries that will hold the time when There is a power outage. Great feature. When the power comes back on, the time Will be correct.

    No Time to Waste! ....Alarm Clock
    Saves Time! It's not complicated and very handy to have. It does not take up a lot of space and it's lightweight. Easy travel alarm too. It can take 2 'AAA' batteries (not included) for back-up. One less worry should we lose power. It has large, red led lights for the time. Easy to see for me. I can really appreciate the keyboard controls. They are large and all located in the front. The alarm has an easy slide on/off button. It has a beeping sound that is not over-bearing and it doesn't scare me! The snooze button is large. If you hit the snooze button after the alarm goes off the alarm will continue every nine minutes until you turn the alarm off. The time is very easy to set. On the upper left the P.M. light will display. This is the kind of alarm clock that I look for, it's not complicated. I don't have to search for the controls .......especially in the morning!

    Simple Modern Alarm Clock
    I would in fact recommend this alarm clock to family and/or friends if they were searching for an affordable solution. Myself, I rarely use an alarm clock....but I DO like to SEE what time it is when I am in bed. When I am in bed, I like to have a small but readable clock on my night stand. I say readable in meaning I can actually see the time in the dark. This Mainstays Alarm Clock has a bright LED display and that makes it very easy to see the time in day or night. No fiddling around on the back trying to push the correct settings. The main controls are all on the front. That's why they call it a keyboard alarm clock. The front has the on/off alarm button, alarm button, hour, minute, and a large snooze button. It is an electric alarm clock so no need for batteries EXCEPT.....if you want a battery back up, you do in fact have that option. Something I especially like about this alarm clock too, it is rather small and compact so I can take it with me when traveling. The battery option really does make it a good choice for outages but also for travelers.

    Our old alarm clock has gotten pretty old at this point, several parts of the digital numbers don't even appear anymore. So, I'm relieved to get this new alarm clock. It is very well designed and built and it feels solid and strong, with no loose parts or anything. The shape of the clock is compact, so it fits on my bedside table easily. It also has various buttons that are set up similar to a keyboard, which are on the front, flat part of the clock's base. The four buttons include one to set the time and another to set the alarm. It's easy to do that, you just hold down one or the other while pressing the hour or minute until you reach the right time. The PM and alarm lights are large and, like the numbers, very bright (and all of the numbers are showing up, too, thank goodness). There is a large snooze button, too, running the width of the base, which turns the alarm off for nine minutes, which is nice when I want to sleep in a bit. The alarm, itself, is a repeating long beep that is strong without becoming shrill, and it definitely wakes me up without any problem at all.
