Works well
we had a smooth bottomed throw rug just inside the front door on a tile floor. It kept sliding everywhere, including into the door opening. Cut this to size in 30 seconds and...Tada! No more rug slippage (or very little).

Be aware of sliding
This would probably work GREAT on a carpeted floor BUT it does NOT work on a wood, laminate or vinyl floor! We have a 2-3' rug at the bottom of our stairs and I stepped off the stairs this morning and almost fell due to the rug sliding. Do NOT recommend

    prevent cakes from slipping and sliding
    I use this to prevent my cakes from sliding all over the trunk while driving. and on my cake turntable as I am frosting cakes. works as it should and can cut to size.

    it really works, i have tried other methods but could not get my carpet to sit flat and not bunch up. Now my carpet sits flat and looks so much.better! im going to.buy 2 more.

    Good but not great.
    These work best for larger rugs. I notice my smaller rugs slide around a lot still. I have also noticed they work better on my hardwood, rather than my LPV floor.

    I bought this for my 10×8 area carpet. It is perfect. no movement at all.!!! my area carpet stays put. as always Walmart does not disappoint. love Walmart ❤️

    Ineffective
    This pad is just complete garbage. I purchased it to hold a runner in place on our hardwood floors. The rug is just as slippery as it always was,it literally slides all over the floor and the gripper does absolutely nothing. I have tried both sides as well. Just buy something else.

    Area rug layering
    I bought two to layer under a Mainstays shag area rug for added warmth and padding on hardwood floors in my dressing room. It worked so well I'm thinking of going the same in my living-room before first frost in CT.

    This rug pad does not do it's job. I placed it under a hall runner and nearly every day the rug shifts sideways exposing the pad. Buyer beware - cheaply made, poor performer.

    Loved the price, best price I found. I ordered 2 and the first one I got the next day well the second one I didn't get until 4 days later, it went all the way to orlando florida and back. I am disappointed that I didn't get it in 2 days.
