A lot of work only to return!
A waste of dollars! While assembling these chairs…threads would not connect when a washer and spring washer were applied, at least 2 times when tightening the screws the wood split…and finally 2 times the interior to 2 screws were stripped when tried to tighten.

    Great value. The construction is better than I expected at the price. Assembly went very smooth due to holes and hardware lining up well. Much of the construction is complete in the box. Some parts are glued and screwed together already. The rest is simple and requires only a single allen wrench (included). The instructions were clear and simple. Some reviewers took issue with the finish. I actually anticipate needing to maintain the water protection on any outdoor furniture. This chair is no different and the simple design will make it easy to do so. Overall I feel like I got a great value for a good looking design, attractive real wood, and comfortable chair.

    Thought the finish would be a little more substantial for the outdoors. I plan on spraying the chairs with an extra protective coating. Overall a great chair for the $64 price!

    disappointed
    I purchased 6 of these to put around a fire pit area. They came really quickly, I put one together, and didn't feel like they would hold up well against the outdoor weather in Ohio. Boxed it back up and returned all 6 to my local Walmart with no problem. I would only recommend if using on a covered area, or inside

    These are really nice chairs but make sure you are buying them for a covered space. I didn't read the reviews before purchasing and then rad that they cannot withstand rain or sunshine. Bummed that I had to take them back ... I love the style.

    NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE
    I'm disappointed that after buying 6 of these chairs the instructions inside say to not keep these in where they can get rained on or get sun. These could only really be used for covered outdoor use it seems which is not what most people are looking for, I wish I had known this before ordering.
