Excellent Purchase!
So happy with this bunk bed! Even more attractive than I expected. Very easy to assemble, directions simply written and all parts very well marked. Arrived in excellent condition, no defects or missing parts. Very sturdy and well built. I got in in white.

I like that the ladder hugs the beds so it doesn't take up any extra space. I love that I can split up the beds for when the time comes. They were fairly easy to put together. I HATE that though we were incredibly careful while assembling there were still some marks/cracks in the wood boards. See photos.JJH

We put them together in a couple of hours. Looks great and the grandchildren love them. (5 and 9 year old) Would recommend this product.Susan

When I opened the box one of the pieces were damaged because of that gash. The bed itself looks really good but doesn't seem as sturdy as they make it seem. Also online it says you can use a 9inch mattress so I ordered a 8 inch and on the warning label it says 6inches.Galindo

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/19/2017This bunk bed is something else!!Ecstatic is an understatement of how I felt when the FedEx man showed up with this perfectly wrapped box. I inspected the box to ensure it wasn't crushed . The box was in great condition despite its long journey. I opened the box and was slightly taken back by what I saw. The espresso bunk bed was cherry colored. I decided to brush that off despite the fact it clashes with the other bedroom furniture. As I took pieces out I was flabbergasted at all the huge dents, dings, and scratches in this "brand new" bunk bed. As you may remember I inspected the box BEFORE I opened it and it had no damage. That means someone saw the wood looking like a hot mess and still decided to package it... I was fuming but I had already taken everything out of the box and didn't want to attempt to deal with the headache associated with returning this beast and decided to just put it together. Here is what I found upon assembly. 1. The pilot holes for the dowels and the bolts were too large, that resulted in an unnecessary trip to my local Home Depot and spending more money to solve this challenge. 2. The side boards were warped as you can tell by the below picture. I had to have the bed up against the wall and brace it there to attempt to screw in the slats. 3. The slats, now this is the funny one. The slats are too far apart if you follow the manufacturers directions. This is a bunk bed so you have to have a thinner mattress on the top so the child above doesn't simply roll out of bed. If you just followed their directions like I originally did when you go up above your hands start pushing the mattress through the slots and your knees also start to sink through so you feel like you're in a deflating bouncy house. 4. The color! It is the wrong color! Espresso is a very dark brown, almost black! I have numerous pieces of furniture in espresso and none of them are this light and red! This is CHERRY! 5. Huge dents, chips, scratches, that someone likely saw and just brushed it off. I think this one bugs me the most... All in all I would never purchase this again, I would never recommend this to friends, and the only reason its not being returned is because I do not want to reassemble another one of these and it weighs 150 pounds...Vallan
