This is the 3rd purchase of the same walkies for my growing business. Communication long lasting, clear and strong. No static. Built well. Love how this product is a 3 pack vs the usual 2. Good value.

Terrible!
I bought this model for our company and when plugged in, they were charging the time stated on instructions and when I tried to use them, the batteries malfunctioned and melted both sets in the casing.. They were plugged into normal outlet. I'm going to return them asap.our company needs a good quality set. I thought that's what i purchased, but obviously not.

    Much better than our $30ish motorola 16 mile set.
    We are in the city with lots of buildings and trees. I was looking for something to have a little better range than 1 block. I'm not in the dessert seeking 26 miles, but this does give better range in the city than I've found with other sets. The weather radio is a nice added feature.

    Good range
    I bought this about a month or so ago and used them right away outside on the farm and they work good up to 2 miles until you walk in a building then it gets choppy or doesn't work.

    Doesn't have the range it claims
    I purchased the LXT 600 VP3 which claimed up to #0 mile range but I couldn't even get 5. My husband and I tried everything and different channels and conditions with no luck. I do like the walkie talkie but it will be used for close communications.

    We purchased these for basically around home use sometimes cellphones don't work here. We found that they are simple to use and we have only tried them 1/2 mile distance from one another and they sound quality is excellent!!! I truly believe that hey are going to be durable and last a long while. They came as a set of 2 with charger as the online description was vague when i purchased them. I found replacement batteries on Midland's website for $19.99 for 2 battery packs. Part number AVP14.

    Works good like a battery should
    I bought these battery packs for my hubby to use in the Midland handheld radios he uses for work. They hold a charge well, he has had no problems with them.
