Cheap Particle Board
The desk I ordered was supposed to have silver hardware but I received black. It was actually super simple to put together, but the particle board is really cheap. The top had a torn corner right out of the box. I wanted to love it for the price, but I fear it will not hold up long before all of the edges show cardboard. It is also a bit wobbly.

    Nice desk. Picture does not match item.
    This is a very nice desk. Directions were easy to follow. The parts are well marked. Took a couple hours. The desk looks nice and feels sturdy. BUT the color in the picture looks like a light brown. the desk is a dark brown. Keeping it but it wasn't the color I was going for. Giving it 4 stars because of that.

    I would definitely buy this product again.
    The instruction weren't very clear, but luckily it was very easy to assemble. It has a nice modern look and it looks just like the picture online. The only problem that I found is that one drawer sticks out more, but besides that I am very happy with the purchase.

    Good value for the price.
    Pretty easy to put together - I did it myself in within a couple hours (and I was even drinking). You'll just need a Philips-head screwdriver but the rest of the stuff is included. The box it comes in is HEAVY and packed with a ton of that awful Styrofoam stuff that gets all.over.the.house so I recommend doing what I did -- open one end of the box, carefully remove & immediately bag as many loose Styrofoam pieces as you can get, then pull each wooden piece out individually and go over it with a lint roller to remove all the Styrofoam crumbs. Pile the desk pieces up in whatever room you're planning to assemble it in. Eventually you won't be able to reach some of the smaller pieces farther in the box, so then just open the other end and repeat from that side. If you opened the entire box right away, you'd be engulfed in a horrible Styrofoam blizzard, RIP. Anyway, the instructions are reasonably easy to follow once you get the hang of them (but, before you install the drawer gliders, really study the pictures of them in the lower right corner of each instruction-step....the screws don't necessarily go where you think they would). And then, once the whole desk is put together, don't try to lift it because it'll kinda sound/feel like something is straining or threatening to come loose. Push/pull it to wherever you want it using the metal feet at the bottom. It feels pretty sturdy, but there are a lot of parts so I wouldn't recommend putting it to any kind of stress test. Oh and if you want hanging folders to go in the large drawer, you'll have to get some of those railing things because the drawer doesn't have a lip or ridge or anything for them to grab onto. Overall, it's a legit desk and I like it. Looks nice, has a large enough work surface, and adequate drawer storage.

    Stunning Monarch 60 in Office Desk in Walnut
    A bit overwhelming when we opened the box but my husband managed to put it together in about 2 hrs. While it is labor intensive, the outcome is a sleek, modern desk perfect for my 96 year old mother! She loves her new desk with just the right amount of file space and additional drawers. She likes that the file drawer is up so she doesn't have to bend down. You Also gave the option of using the file drawer with either legal or letter size hanging files.

    It's a desk. It's big. It looks clean. The big drawer is big - love it. One of the smaller drawers is uneven due to uneven pilot holes for the bracket - maybe a quarter of an inch. It's enough to notice if you're looking.

    Great Desk!
    Love this piece of furniture. It looks unique and it is sturdy. We like the distressed wood look and this was perfect. It holds our 55" TV on it for video games as well as work space.

    Love this desk
    The desk is really nice! Took a while but I put it together myself (first time doing such a thing). Quality isnt the greatest but you get what you pay for it.
