Does waht is says
it will and is truly 2.0, not a 1.0 in 2.0 case.I am very pleased with the purchase and will happily recommend this item and MonoPrice (the vendor) to anyone.

Not Work
The item stopped working just after I bought it. The device powers on when you plug it in, but when I plug in other USB items to it, they don't work or it is intermittent.

    Nice little USB hub
    This little hub is just what I needed to increase the number of USB ports on my wife's computer. The length of the cable is ample enough to allow the hub to be placed conveniently. Note that this hub is USB 2.0, but for most cases that should be sufficient.

    It's really worked well. my hyperx alloy origin 60 keyboard and Razer viper mouse had no input delay on the Chromebook. very happy

    Practical and useful at a good price.
    This is a very useful thing. I am very glad I bought it. Allows multiple devices to be connected to the computer at the same time. It has a very good design and the price is reasonable.

    Intermittent connection
    This product has an intermittent connection with USB devices. I bought it to connect my dongles (iLok, eLicenser) to and in the middle of recording the dongles disconnect, then reconnect. Not a good design unfortunately

    It works as advertised... ...somewhat.
    Works as advertised. I bought 2. one for me, and one for my son (for Christmas) to help with all his peripherals with his gaming. For the one I hooked up for my son: It is a little finicky with some usb plugs that it will allow to plug into it. Not sure if its tight tolerances or what but some items just won't plug into it for reason. Outside of that it works great. I won't know about mine until I get back to work, for that's why I bought it; for all my added peripherals on my desk. I will let you know how mine worked out sometime in the 1st full week of January-2020. Recommendation: Pending
