The adapter I in stalled does not work at all have checked that it is plugged in at both ends. Batteries still go dead an adapter does not run camara

    DC to DC power adapter
    Sell a DC to DC power adapter for your cameras. Relying on AA batteries is ridiculous. I called in to buy what I couldn't find on your site. I'm converting AC DC adapter. This is just silly. The port size isn't listed anywhere either. That would also have solved the problem. Now that I think about it, just throw it in with the camera! It's a real pain to have to search for these.

    Used AC adaptor with d-555i trail cam for 2 days for relief from battery purchases and then something blew. We left it plugged in but unit turned off during day. Last video went black and unit was warm in AM when we retrieved SD. Cam still operates everything except wont take video or pic and has bad smell. Apparently still pulls power when OFF as flash area and disp screen area were very warm on our cold porch.
