A well constructed rack that is easy to Assemble.
The rack was easy to assemble, being a women and 78 years young , I did not need any help! The flexibility of design Worked well into my space. In stead of 72 inches tall, I chose to divid the rack into one long rack

I have buyers remorse....
The photos of the shelf are misleading prior to assembly and manufacturer's product support is a joke.... Also, FedEx absolutely abused one of thd shelf kits brackets were bent and a couple of the post couplers were bent and required some finesse to assemble the shelf. See previous comment about manufacturer's product support in regards to getting damaged parts replaced.

    Not as described.
It's not as described in picture. The wire shelves are black instead of chrome but that's only an inconvenience. The side beams and braces are 3 inches or more wide that takes up 15 inches out of the 72 inches of storage space as there are cross bars under each shelf that also interfere with putting things. I have two muscle rack shelves from previous buys that are 18 inch deep instead of 24 but the braces and beams are only an inch and a half. The braces and beams also are significantly lighter in weight compared to the earlier shelves of same brand and model except for depth. So I am not sure whether it will hold the weight it is supposed to but I am not risking my belongings. Was too busy to install it for a few months past the purchase so out of luck for return. The picture is side by side with another shelf for the review.

    Good for the Money
It seems to be a very sturdy shelf unit, will serve my purposes perfectly, and is priced very reasonably. However, I gave them 4 rather than 5 because there is an apparent minor design flaw in that the wire shelves do not sit directly on the support rods under the each shelf but rather are support by the lip going around the edge; in essence, there is a small gap between the wire mesh shelf and each support rod. If an extreme amount of weight (they are supposed to hold 500 lbs per shelf) is put on the shelves, the support rod will prevent the shelf from totally bowing or collapsing but really the rods should supply support directly to each shelf.

Product great - Shipping (FEDEX) was horrible
The shelves are a good size and great price. They have a metal shelf so it won't sag over time like a wood shelf. The shipping (FEDEX) as usual was very poor. The boxes we're torn, dented and missing parts.

NOT BAD AT ALL FOR THE PRICE
All in all, I'm happy with them. The finish is good and everything fits together pretty well with only a small mallet! They seem stout enough for a good amount of material, maybe not an engine, but if your looking to store parts, tooling, bins, ect. this will be just fine. The only material issue was the end of one of the cross braces was a little bent but a vise trued it up just fine. I think the assembly instructions were outsourced to a non-English speaking country to be written and translated back, but you really don't need them. What the instructions completely leave out are the shelf supports that run the 24" from the front of the shelf to the back. These supports have little fingers, one on each end, that must be bent 90 degrees to slide into retainer loops on the inside of each shelf support, from front to back. These stiffen up the shelf quite a bit and without them, the wire won't hold much, as I've read in the negative reviews. Again, in her defense these were never mentioned in the instructions.

won't hold much weight damaged during shipping
arrived damaged. there is also no way these shelves can hold more than 100lbs. cheap metal bowed out well before 100lbs were added. all pieces can be bent by hand. very cheap, not sturdy at all

    Real review
The product name is muscle rack, there is no muscle LOL. It's very weak and delicate. If you plan to put bigger weights , forget it. This is suitable for household stuff, probably fits for pantry stuff. Or you can keep a bag full of Christmas decorations or Halloween decorations . If you have a basement gym and if you plan to put heavy weights, forget it. Its a big product for lighter goods. It can bend easily, I don't have time and energy to make a video as I don't post reviews . The only con is, it's easy to put together. Also needed hammer for certain parts.

Solid shelves, directions leave more to be desired
Pros: - If you own a mallet or hammer you can assemble this - no nuts, bolts, or screws thankfully! - All pieces are fairly light to handle, the shelving grates are the heaviest but would not be hard for most people to handle - It looks great once assembled! Cons: - I am not an engineer, but I consider myself a smart fellow and I cannot wrap my head around how the mfg expects the center support beams (QTY of 2) which are essentially sheet metal turned on their sides to hold up with heavy weight (approved up to 500lbs)? Long term I am a bit concerned about the structural integrity of the middle of the shelves, even though the outer parts of the grates sit on a "lip" on the remainder of the frame which disperses the load. Also, the center pieces at each end - are no joke - held in place by tabs that you bend into place to keep them in place. Very odd - The directions are pathetic. There are only really 4 steps to follow, but the actual English directions are puzzling at times and the drawings are slightly confusing. The cross beam I alluded to above is not represented in the directions at all and the drawing for it is inaccurate. I spent several minutes googling this model of shelves to see what other people did so I could ensure I did it right. Also, I can't remember which step it is maybe 3 or 4 where it alludes to a piece of wood being used? It gives no context, no picture, no explanation for it. My assumption is that there are other models that use wooden shelves instead of metal, but it was confusing to see nonetheless. All in all, I am giving this a 4/5 and it's mostly because of the directions and center supports being questionable. It's been in the garage for a week with some pretty heavy items and everything appears to be good so far.
