Great speed
This extender is awesome..I had it setup as wireless 50ft from the Netgear Rax200..it's in my bedroom where I had bad reception..I have 1.2gbps through Xfinity..but my numbers were way down..like 260mbps..then I hardwired the extender to my router and configured it as a wireless access point and my numbers went up drastically here are some pics from my Galaxy Ultra S20

Netgear is Now Horrible
No Star Review, Overcharged, False Advertised Price and 2 Day Express Shipping, Lost in Shipping refused to issue Refund, Arrived two weeks late,Horrible Customer Service, Horrible Technical Support, Horrible Supervision, No Management or Corporate Response,CAX80 did not even feed a Gig Service, Don't buy one period, Amazon sells same products at fourth of price, Be prepared for Zero support if it doesn't arrive or work period!

    Mediocre extender
    Mediocre wifi extender for the price their are better options out their. You would expect stellar performance for the price point but range is mediocre at best. The mesh option is nice if everything you have plays nice with 2.4 and 5g while somethings require 2.4g which negates the mesh option. Quality does appear to be good so I hope lasts awhile time will tell. Set up is very easy and straightforward have only used as extender so can't comment on AP functionality. Overall very mediocre as extender range is fair not what you would expect from this price point quality appears good. Their are better options for performance and price out there.

    Disappointed
    Did not work as expected had to put it in the same room for it to connect to router and it did not extend the wifi signal beyond the routers area house is surround by brick one of the devices I wanted to connect was 5 ft from the extender had very low wifi signal unable to access extenders settings very disappointed if possible I would return it

    Has bugs but works OK otherwise.
    Purchased in Dec. 2022. Has bugs. Unit turns off then on at random times. Internet provided help by suggesting disable/degrade some functions. That worked. Unit now only turns itself off about once a day for about 30 seconds. Nothing yet on Netgear's site acknowledging this problem or when they intend to fix it. Otherwise unit appears to work as intended.

    Extender works exactly as described
    Quite simply, this extender does exactly what we needed in our large home. Internet reception was poor in one corner of the house before, but now the coverage is even regardless of where we are. Excellent product from NETGEAR. Not the lowest priced out there, but well worth it.

    Great upgrade from C7800
    Upgraded from the C7800 and I'm glad I did. Used to pull down 70-110 mbps on my phone from my room (40 feet away from the gateway), and now I'm getting 700-800 mbps. Even my hardwired connection to my PC increased dramatically. Getting 1.3-1.4? Gbps down now, which is insane...but really cool to be connected at 2.5 Gbps finally.

    Note: I have a nighthawk router. I hardlined my wifi extender from the router. I did set up new wireless access points on the wifi extender. The UI is a little clunky using the genie desktop app and even the nighthawk app mobile app. Like it shows the connection is there for me as an extender. But some functionalities that I would expect aren't. Plus it just recognizes the extenders as devices and ip or Mac addresses. Which just doesn't make sense to me on the network map.

    If you want a super fast router with awesome distance and for a bonus it looks like Darth Vader's ship, buy it and you will not be disappointed. Setup was seamless as well !!!

    Reliable and future proof two-in-one Modem/Router!
    Wow, a great reliable modem that provided a much better experience than our old AX1800 from Netgear. Definitely future proof with its extensive features. Really sturdy and has adequate WiFi range. Have not had to reset it at all in the past two months since installing it (which was a pretty straightforward process)
