Protect your wall and looks great to
This is a really nice dart board wall protector. It is well made and looks great. We have a Narwhal dart board and it fits it perfectly. This gives 3 inches of wall protection around our dart board. If your company misses by a long shot its going in the wall, We use metal tip darts and the thick soft foam layer over a hard plastic backing does a great job of keeping the darts from penetrating the wall from those oh no you just missed the board throws. The instructions are well detailed and easy to follow. It took about 20 minutes to put it together and have it hanging on the wall. It is well made. You will need a few tools to put it together. You will need tape to tape the paper template to the wall, a level, a pencil or pen and a screwdriver and a drill and drill bit for putting the plastic anchor into the wall. It went together fairly easy and was easy to get it mounted on the wall. This is a great product and I would buy this again.

Dartboard Wall Protector
I received this item to evaluate for free, but comments and opinions below are my own. The Narwhal Dartboard wall Protector is a great idea, but failed in execution. The donut comes in 4 sections with 2 cross bars. The plastic pieces were extremely difficult to fit together, even for a grown man. It required strength and finesse, not a easy combination. Even when you finally put them together, the donut is wrapped, not really work well with the Dartboard. Not recommended.

    Nice, Basic Wall protection
    This Narwhal Soft Foam Dart Board Wall Protector does it job at protecting your wall from steel or soft tip darts. It.comes in four pieces that you can put together quickly. It could be easily assembled and disassembled for someone who occasionally takes their dart board up and down. The protector itself has a decent amount of foam protection, so you won't have to worry about your darts making holes in your wall.

    Hard to Assemble
    We were in desperate need of something to protect my sons wall from all of the missed thrown darts! He loves playing with his dart board but has ruined most of the surrounding wall. Once we patched up the holes we figured we would purchase this to keep the wall protected. The assembly and installation were extremely cumbersome. The foam bits have a puzzle locking design which are intended to make assembly easy but in reality are hard to fit together and to fit properly. I took it apart and rearranged it several times to try and get the pieces to fit perfectly but ended up settling for them being uneven. I also had a hard time getting the dartboard to fit. Once I got it put together It did its job. It keeps the darts from hitting the wall and traps them so they do not fall out and hit the floor. Overall not thrilled with this product but it serves its purpose.

    It does the job but could look better
    The Narwhal Steel or Soft Tip Dartboard Wall Protector, 24 in Diameter is effective for adding about 6 inches of protection to your wall around all sides of the dartboard. The mounting system is straight-forward and easy to do, and the material is easy to pull darts out of and will last many rounds. Installation is simple too, however my one complaint about this board is that it comes in four 90 degree segments that snap together, and the seams are very apparent even from a distance, so it diminishes from the aesthetic of the product. If it was one solid piece it would look better and I would give the product 5 stars. It's still effective though and that's what's most important, so I recommend the product.

    Good protection, decent construction
    This is a pretty good wall protector for a dartboard. I do not have a dart board but have planned to get one so this was an easy choice. Narwhal makes very good products, so this was very nice to receive for free just to review. The padding is very thick and dense so it should hold on to both hard and soft darts, although I think soft tip darts may not penetrate the foam unless thrown very hard. Assembles very easily although some of the padding overlaps the backing and makes it very difficult to place in the slots. I used a butter knife to do it because it's not thick or sharp and you can easily cut yourself with a knife or a screwdriver. The plastic frame support center pieces help to stabilize and level it out on the wall and has four holes for included large screws, two small screws, four wall anchors for drywall, and also comes with a metal mounting bracket for the dartboard. The hanging template is also helpful to mark holes and make leveling proper installation and leveling simple. I only received one of the two small screws but I have several spare screws of the exact size so it's not a big deal. Overall, very nice wall protector and very sturdy when fully assembled and likely more so when mounted to the wall.

    This protector will protect your wall when throwing darts. I dont play that often but when I do, this I know protects my house walls from the darts. A must have when you throw darts in your home.

    This a pretty handy dart board wall protector. I wish it were a little bigger. If you are playing with people who have a good aim, then it won't really matter much. It comes in four pieces that you put together to form a circle. They lock in place. Then you can bracket it to a wall and hang up your dartboard over it. It will expand your board, depending on the size, by a few inches. Now if you are are bad dart tosser, nothing is going to help your wall and you will still want to line it with corkboard. But if you just want to add some simple protection then this is pretty good! Fits most dartboards. Some will be flush with the pad. Others I think might not be completely centered on the pad since how it will hook into place will either be on a bracket from the back or using an eye-hook at the top.

    I would say it gets the job done but not great.
    I would say this gets the job done but not great. Upon first opening the package, I was not very impressed. I felt the foam would not hold up over time. I also felt that it reminded me of lego's the way you have to piece things together. It is big enough to cover the area of the dartboard. However, I found that it was just not quite big enough. I think this is great for a wall you don't mind holes going in anyway. But, for a wall you really want to protect, I feel you would be better off going with something a little bigger or a cabinet for the dart board. This will definitely get the job done if you are using plastic darts because those rarely put holes in walls anyway. But, with a traditional dart board and darts, I just have a hard time giving this 5 stars when it does not protect your wall at all costs. There is a plastic piece behind the foam. I do not think that would ever break. But, never say never right? I do think it gives the dart board a cool dimension, almost 3D like. Especially if the wall you are throwing against is not dark.

    Disappointing
    I got this I was so excited about playing with it but come to find out it was Miss factory cut so mine didn't line up very well so I wasn't able to use it I also didn't like the way that it was designed to be permanently stuck on my wall with screwing it down I would not recommend this to my friends or family but I will keep looking for the one that fits my dart board because this one did not.. Not saying that this one wouldn't work for you just saying mine was factory miscut so maybe yours will work better if you choose to buy one I would not recommend this for my friends or family because of the experience that I had with it after putting it together it was unusable
