Perfect.....
This stand is the perfect size for everything. I do use it as a turntable stand but it has so much more room then meets the eye. Yes you have to assemble but if you follow directions it’s pretty easy. It has 2 drawers for storage and slots below for records. Very large top capacity that can hold my turntable and my mp3 device I am recording all my records on. Nice chestnut finish and very sturdy and strong. This could be used for several different things from a desk, to a hallway mail table, to the ideas are endless. Highly recommended......

Inexpensive and shows it
The idea behind this is a great one, and I'll use it, but it isn't a great piece of furniture. Of course, it is pressed wood, so I didn't have high expectations. It looks like a piece of furniture you have to assemble, unlike some I have that you couldn't tell that is what it is. It isn't sturdy enough to hold that many record albums - about 9-10 per section (5 lbs. each section). Granted that is 40 lbs. total, but most audiophiles have way more records than this will hold. It's plenty big, though. There is plenty of room for my little turntable and a cd player with speakers on top (see picture). The drawers will come in handy as I am always running out of room for "stuff". It arrived undamaged with the exception of the side piece of one drawer which was crushed on one corner. I called the company and they immediately sent out a replacement piece. No hassle at all. Once it arrived I was able to complete assembly of the stand. I did it by myself in a couple of hours and it wasn't that hard. It probably took twice as long as it would have with two people so you can see it is a fairly simple assembly process. It would probably benefit by some wood glue to help hold everything together, but I just didn't want to take the time for that. The metal legs seem to be very sturdy and the area where they are screwed in are reinforced. But I would never move this piece without taking everything out and off of it just to be on the safe side. I can't really recommend it, but if you want to get this for use until you can afford a better turntable stand, it will serve the purpose for quite a while if you are careful with it.

It's pressed wood! Don't have high expectations!
Love it, very nice looking color and has a real wood look. The instructions were easy to follow and few tools were needed to install. It took me about a hour and nothing was missing.

    Love it
Great looking stand! Color was accurate. A little difficult to put together, super heavy, but worth it.

    An absolute LOVE
This turntable stand is perfect for someone who is trying to update their first apartment. I was concerned about materials seeing the price. It was the typical “cheap” wood with a finish but when put together it looks great! It took about an hour to put together, directions were pretty clear to understand. Love Ameriwood products! If your expectations are understanding of the typical Walmart products then you won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to add a new stand/a way to hold their vinyl!

    Stylish and affordable cabinet
Best record cabinet for the money and perfect for my home office. Took about 2 hours to assemble. Like the retro style for my records and turntable. Maybe I was just lucky but it was all delivered in good condition just a couple days late.

    Great Turntable Stand
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item. Happy the stand arrived in perfect condition with no scratches - usually you see that in cheaper furniture. It does take a while to build but it's not difficult. Best of all this item is made in the USA! Always love seeing that so definitely worth the money.

    I would buy again.
WE are using this in a spare room for our turn table and albums. looks very nice. Arrived quickly, but the packing material was pulverized and we had damage to some of the corners. kept it because we had started to put it together and most of the broken corners were concealed. This is the first item that has been less than perfect that we have received from hayneedle.

Fun mid-century design for amateur vinyl-philes!
Fun mid-century design in an inexpensive unit for amateur vinyl-philes! It arrives flat pack, in pieces like IKEA furniture and takes some time and patience to put together but seems reasonably sturdy once completed. The plastic wood veneer makes it kinda cheap looking but then so was much of the furniture made in the 60's, lol! I don't expect this to last forever but for purposes of holding some 40 year old vinyl records and an ancient Pioneer turntable, this piece is very suitable.
