Great grapefruit flavor!
I'm on a grapefruit kick, and this delivers the grapefruit taste, nice and sweet (and citrusy too). And after emptying the bottle, we use the container for dry storage in the pantry.

Something is VERY off with this African juice!
I usually buy other brands from other stores but have picked up about six bottles of this 100% Grapefruit Juice from Walmart over the last month. Something about it tastes very strange. At first I thought the first bottle was starting to go bad, but I finished it anyway. The next bottle tasted just as bad. Then I thought that there may be something off with my taste buds for some reason or it may have just been a peculiar batch, so I bought three more bottles the next time I went to the store. Each of them has also had the same strange, off, and unpleasant taste. It almost has a slight skunky aftertaste, and every drink I take my palette tells me that something is wrong. Also, I am used to real grapefruit juice being a much lighter pink or yellowish color. This one is a darker milky pink. I don't think any freshly squeezed grapefruit could produce such a dark milky color. I noticed a stamp on the bottles saying that the concentrate comes from South Africa! I live in Florida for goodness sake. Why in the world would Walmart need to bring grapefruit juice all the way from South Africa? I think that may be the reason it tastes strange. I have been overseas often. I often see human waste being used as fertilizer. I don't doubt something strange like that is going on with this imported juice among other things. Suffice it to say, I am on my last bottle and will not be buying this brand ever again.

    Confused
After a long sabbatical from drinking pure red grapefruit juice, I went looking for its availability online. The closest thing I could find for delivery was an Ocen Spray product for 'pink' grapefruit juice which claimed to be 100% 'juice'. It was not. It was fruit and vegetable juice with added ingredients. Only after stocking six bottles on my shelves was this product made available for delivery. While it still falls short of that refrigerated carton of Ruby Red, Simply Grapefruit Juice, never from concentrate, at least it is available for delivery and from actual grapefruit. Some of which are actually the pink variety. It is from concentrates and the countries of origin seem to be held in secrecy. It does cause some confusion concerning the need for their other "100% juice" product which is priced similar, derives its color from tomato juice, and is a menagerie of deception? Long gone now is that deep red fruit from the same location as the Tyler orange that was named for Texas Ruby and Red Foley. It is now a franchised facsimile out of Florida. If you can find them, fruit of that fame still come from the Texas valley, just as read, just as flavorful. But I still give this juice a full five stars. Maybe not the best there is, but the closest we are likely to get delivered for the price.

Good juice, when you can get it!
I liked the 100% juice (reconstituted) not a blend of juices, sugars, extracts, pulp. It is currently not available. That is because groceries are poorly regulated by the FDA and by Florida. They serve the industry, not the consumer. There is plenty of grapefruit juice to make drinks and blends, but not enough for pure juice. That is how corrupt the industry and our governments are.

    No sugar added!
No sugar added, made of only grapefruit concentrate and taste exactly like fresh grapefruit juice - what's not to like?
