Excellent Monitor
Omron consistently makes an excellent blood pressure monitor. The Omron 10 is no exception. Easy to use, easy to read and accurate. This one even shows the new reading next to the last reading taken for easy comparison. Excellent instruction book to get the best from the monitor.

Must send data to Omron to use Bluetooth.
I bought this specifically for the Bluetooth feature so that I could log the data on my phone.
The iOS app forces the user to create an account and send the data to OMRON. No way around it.

It came with batteries and an AC adapter. Omron has an app for my phone and the data from the monitor is sent and stored on the app as well as the monitor. No more blood pressure logs, I have the data at my fingertips. The cuff is ample and no bulb to pump up, just place the cuff on your arm and click start.Cat

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/21/2021Comparing Blood Pressure MonitorsI bought the BP Monitor Equate 8000 series (in store) and the Omron 10 series (online). I chose these models due to the display being dark background with white numbers for easy to read. I had problems with syncing the Equate 8000 series data with app. I exchanged it thinking it was a bad unit. The second one worked better but was not reliable to sync every time. Its not hard to manually enter the readings but I shouldn't have to. The Equate is more compact and would be easier to pack for travel compared to Omron 10. The Equate 8000 weighs less too. I like the display being in color for easy identification of other than normal readings. The Omron 10 does not have color other than the heart beat. The D-ring cuff is easy to put on compared with Omron 10. That one has a preformed cuff and is more difficult to put on due to the stiffness. The Omron seems to have a more detailed app. There are two screens that you use. One to sync and the other to view results/history. The Equate is all in one but you must have app open to sync. Overall, I like the Equate one better but ended up not keeping it due to the sync problem.Jennifer

To use the app you have to agree to give your BP data to others and accept advertising. For me this means the wireless connection is useless. I didn't buy an expensive BP monitor so others could take and sell my data and junk up my phone with ads. I would buy a cheaper and simpler monitor. Read the comments on OMRON connect app on the App Store before you buy.William

I sent an email to Omron and learned that there is a 7-9 inch cuff and was given a URL. The process to take a reading is well documented. The BP monitor is well designed and built to handle years of use. I configured the BP monitor to take 3 readings a minute apart and to give me an average of the readings. Each reading is uploaded to my iPhone using Bluetooth.Michael

As you get older, you should check your blood pressure on a regular basis. I get anxious when I go to a doctor and my blood pressure jumps up during my appointment. Because of this, I check my blood pressure regularly at home and then give the doctor the results. I like to use both the Omron wrist monitor and Omron upper arm monitor.
