Works well
The defender series are always the case I get for my new phones. These things have survived so much abuse over the years. Drops down whole flights of stairs, in sand, snow, puddles, the toilet, and hillsides. It keeps your phone in tip top shape for later resale.

Disappointing Update to the Defender Cases
I've used Otterbox cases religiously for many years. I even get their Defender series which has offered the most protection. Their new case for iPhone 12 and up proved extremely disappointing. The Defender case comes with a hard plastic shell covered by a rubber case. In the past, the plastic shell was thicker and therefore more durable. As you can see, the top part of the plastic shell broke in several places and even chipped and peeled away. The only thing holding the plastic shell together was the outer casing. This was the result of normal use. No drops.

    Good Protection, Poor Build Quality
    The design of the case is great, and my phone is in immaculate condition despite one or two minor drops in this case. With nice bezels and a good screen protector, this really does protect a phone. The issue is, the inner plastic is extremely fragile, and has started to break after only a couple of minor drops (at max). I love otter box products, but it seems like they may have missed the quality of this one. The clips that hold the inner portion of the case together have also begun to break, causing the entire case to move around and feel extremely cheap.

    BEST PROTECTION EVER!
    Otterbox is honestly one of the best brands when it comes down to protecting your phones. We spend so much money on new phones, the last thing we want and need is to break and damage them. I've been using otterbox products for years and I have not broken an iPhone since. My other current otterbox is a super cute silicone clear glitter case but when I am going to be out and about I do prefer something more heavy duty and this defender series pro protects my phone so much! I love the clip it has so it's perfect when I go hiking it stays put. It is a little bulky so I will definitely mainly use it when I'm out and about but when this one isn't on my phone, my other otterbox clear glitter case is on. Overall, otterbox makes the best cases and I will forever recommend them.

    Best protection and design for iPhone 12 Pro max
    Otter box is one of the best known case companies out there and for good reason. This case is as good as gets in terms of design, protection, and functionality. All of the buttons work perfectly and even have a better feel making it easier to lock my iPhone or put the volume up and down. I can confirm that the case does allow for wireless charging because that is what I use in my car. The feel of the case is excellent and provides a better grip on my large iPhone 12 Pro Max. Even the camera in the back is pretty much protected as it never touches a surface when laid down. The thing that really stood out for me was the curved lip on the top and bottom. You don't notice it at first but it's a very clever design adding even more protection to the screen but not making the case thicker overall.

    Rough and tough
    It really really makes the phone strong, I am confident nothing will happen to this even if we slip the phone with this cover. A very durable case, inside it has a foam type called drop protection which will absorb most of the shock. All the buttons are nicely placed and easily accessible, they are placed exactly over the phone buttons so we don't have to worry about pressing at particular spots only. Initially I thought it would be bulkier but it's not very easy to carry around. Also we can use the hook when working and have small pockets.

    OtterBox is TUFF
    I usually see a phone case as just a case but this OtterBox is awesome if your looking for max protection for your iPhone 12 Mini. The hard plastic shell completely surrounds and protects the phone. Whereas I'm not going to drop my phone just to test the case, I'm very confident that the case will do its job and then some. The built-in belt clip is nice and holds the case snuggly to whatever it is you wish to clip it to. I would recommend this to friends and family if they have the requisite phone.

    I love this protective case for my iPhone . It's super durable protective against drops and will protect that expensive iPhone . I love the clip that clips to your belt . The raised edges protect the camera and screen . It's a good otter box and you can't go wrong by buying it . It outlast others . Strong and durable is just what it takes for someone like me always in the go . I drop my phone a lot and this box is a lifesaver .

    A great case with some minor issues
    Ever since my iPhone 3gs, I've used the Otterbox defender case. I can be a clutz and dropped my phone more times than I'd like to. I like to keep it in as pristine condition that I can when I eventually trade or resell the device. Otterbox has not let me down yet. When I got the case, my concern was that it felt thinner than the last Otterbox defender case that I got for my iPhone X. After putting the case on, my phone feels sturdy and keeps the iPhone protected, but also keeping a slim appearance and lightweight as possible. The two negatives I have are, I wish the phone would come with a screen protector, but that's a gripe I had since Otterbox removed it from the defender line of Cell phone cases. Most people claimed to hate it, but I liked not having to buy another screen protector separately. The second is the removal of the Apple window on the back of the device. While the camera box still shows the pacific blue color of my phone, the removal of the window doesn't show off your device for aesthetic purposes and makes it feel like a generic smartphone in a smartphone case holder. I'm still happy with the purchase and will always recommend getting an Otterbox defender case to anyone looking to protect their phones.
