I'm the type of consumer that obsessively researches product details and reviews before making a purchase. This one seemed to have the best reviews and specs I was looking for so I made the purchase. It has exceeded my expectations. The first thing I noticed was how heavy and solid the controller felt in my hands, a sign of quality parts and assembly. It was fairly easy to set up on my PS3, although I would like to have seen better instructions. The controls are moderately stiff but fluid. I imagine they would stand up to competitive gaming, if one was into that. I haven't tested the controller on my PC yet. The LEDs are a nice touch even though I don't use them much. One of my favorite features is that I can use it with my Energizer Xbox One charging system. Overall an outstanding controller that exceeded my expectations. Take my advice, stop reading reviews and buy this controller, you won't be disappointed!

ps3 controller
This controller is only two weeks old and already the left analog button isn't working. It keeps making me go right no matter which way I push it.

    One word....AWESOME
I've had this for over 3 months and have used it heavily for gran turismo 5. The controller still works like new. I would say it's a much better controller than the original Sony Controller. The sony controller always gets the x button sticking, which is the gas control for racing games, this one doesn't have that issue, and this one is also a little larger, which is great for people with bigger hands, like me. Very comfortable and very durable. Also, I can unplug the dongle from the ps3 and plug it in to my computer for an instant plug and play controller. I bought a 2nd one for a spare, but haven't had to use it. Highly recommend this.

it's okay but likes to disconnect durning games.
Its a nice feeling controler for small hands but it keeps turning on and off when trying to play a game. I ended up getting a wired controler and a wire extention for it. This controler now sits in a drawer below my ps3. would love to get my money back but don't have the box anymore.

    Next Best Thing...Ps3 controller
Well here's the scoop . After going thru several factory PS3 controllers my son who is a aviad gamer on game system's from the Atari 2600 thru All Nintendo system's and Dreamcast / PlayStation's and Xbox' s. He advised me to try this controller and after getting use to it's a little heavier then factor ps3 controller it's much more accurate when playing first shooter games I found it to Be dead on accurate even after two year of steady use but as of this writing it's time for a replacement which I will gladly pay the $20.00 for two years of use.As for the batteries lasting I found as long as you turn of the disco mode. The batteries last a descent amount of play time vers the disco and vibration mode which seem eat up the AA batteries. Which it takes 2 of every time you need to replace them. The controller comes on and turns off and red lite flashes like your cell phone does just before it dies due to no more juice in battery..So if you read this review long .(Buy this Controller ). I've spent more money and got crap controllers. Good Luck And Happy Gaming

    Wouldn't buy again
This remote is not PC compatible, and the R2 button on mine likes to stick and not shoot, the blue light is actually bothersome for my eyes so i don't use it, and the remote is also uncomfortable to hold...i got it because it is a wireless and i got sick of pets eating the cords on my others, i wouldn't buy again.

No where near as accurate as an original Sony control. For first person games, it lags as if your internet is slow and it wonders, even after adjusting the sensitivity. Compared to the high replacement cost of an original, it'll have to do.

    Afterglow PS-3 & PC Controller
Though it says on the package it's for the PC, the website says that it doesn't support nor guarantee pc application. If you've been down this road with similar controllers, I wouldn't waste the money. It doesn't work on the PS-4. If you have a ps3 & need a controller, this is as good a controller as any, other than OEM. I picked this up because my controller isn't quite right, trying to fix it, didn't help, &. . .some game places don't test the controllers they sell, to see if they are working, even though they sell you an extended warranty. The plusses. This works fine, right away. It can use rechargeable batteries, & over all, the life of the batteries is alright. It turns off after about 3 minutes of inactivity to save the batteries. The minuses: It won't turn on the PS-3 (it will turn it off though). The lights don't dim, so that may be distracting. The controller is large & the controls are a little different, so will take a little getting used to. The response time is a bit slow. Overall, this is a great controller & the price is alright. It looks bad azz, along with your other After glow gear. Peel it off the shelf, or order it on-line & save a couple bucks. It doesn't come with batteries. The controller is plastic of course, but pretty solid feeling. Internally on the system, things work like other controllers. Bluetooth didn't pick it up (doesn't need to). Time will tell how long this will last.
