Holds all my son needs for school!
I've been slowly trying to get my sons school supplies together so I'm not trying to get it all at once and having nothing but picked through junk. He's in middle school, 8th grade, and they need binders for all their different classes. Some must be white and specific, but some classes don't require anything specific. When I saw the Pen + Gear zipper binder, I knew this was perfect for my kid because he loses anything not tied down, in this case, zipped up. This binder holds a lot of loose leaf paper and is very sturdy and seems durable enough that an 8th grader won't tear it up! I recommend this if your kid is hard on things.

For light duty only
This binder works well but I don't think it will hold up for heavy duty use. The plastic part is what concerns me. I think when the binder is filled with a lot of materials, the plastic could break at some point. I would have preferred the sides of the binder being made out of heavy duty fabric like the pencil pouch.

    So handy!
    I received the PEN+GEAR Poly Zipper Binder, 1.5", Zipper Binder, 10.75" x 1.75" x 13.5", Blue binder to review. I must admit that I've purchased several of these over the years. They are exceptionally handy. Being zipped, it allows some protection of your files from falling out as well as from getting wet. It's definitely worth it.

    Great Organization Tool
    I am always looking for the best binder for organization of paperwork. It is always nice to be able to keep everything in one place. This binder is great for that. Pockets for holding receipts or small papers, rungs for holding 8 1/2 × 11 sheets and even with it zipped closed you can see there is no problem adding tabs to your paperwork as well. Choose different colors for different subjects to start organized and stay organized.

    Simple and Durable
    This is not a fancy binder, but it is made out of what feels like a strong plastic. I think it will hold up to a full your of a junior high boy's rough treatment. It also has a zipper pouch on the inside,which is a nice feature. The fact that the entire thing also zips up may ensure that our son does lose everything between the trip from school to home and back. Hopefully the two zippable compartments will mean he won't stuff all his papers in his pocket. Seems like a good product.

    Nice zipper binder. Lightweight zipper binder that holds quite a bit a paper. It has a nice mesh zipper pocket on the inside to hold pencils, pens, scissors, crayons, and some post its. The zipper pouch is designed to hold paper behind it for an additional storage pocket. It seems sturdy enough to make it through at least one school year but possibly longer too depending on usage.

    Very handy zipper binder!
    This zipper binder is a very handy tool for a high school student. The material seems to be quite sturdy and can be a safe place to carry notebooks or to place folder leaves whichever the student may prefer. It will protect your work from the wear and tear of everyday handling.There is even an inside pocket where you can store your writing tools. The zipper outside will close and keep your items secure and safe. I would definitely recommend this product!

    Good zipper, very thin binder sleeves
    The zipper part of the binder is awesome. I love the fact that I can zip up my son's binder and know that all his pencils, pens, papers, and any other material he has in there stays safe zipped up. The size of the binder is good. One downfall I saw was that the binder sleeves are very very thin. It got bent due to the way they put it in my mailbox but if it were a thicker sleeve, that would not have happened this badly. Overall, I am satisfied with this binder.

    Love this zippered notebook/binder!
    I got this for use with my traveling. I like to print out everything associated with a trip and keep it in a notebook. I frequently refer to it while traveling and it helps keep everything in one place. This 1.5 inch binder with a zipper all around is absolutely perfect for keeping things together! Not only does it keep pass cards, parking receipts, maps, and reservations secure, but it also has a zippered pocket inside that I'm putting highlighters, pens, and markers in. I used it on a day trip yesterday, and it keep everything neatly organized and safely together. I'm using it again next week on a three-day trip, and am looking forward to it keeping my papers and information neatly organized.

    Nice binder
    This is a great basic binder for my high school student. It is a good size, feels well made, and the outside fabric is easy to wipe down. There is also a handy mesh zipper pocket inside for pencils, etc. Her school colors are royal blue so the color is nice feature for her as well.
